Me and you have been on the same page for this whole thing but i get this funny feeling there might be some merit to these rumors.

I know, it makes no sense for Howard to be traded for these inferior players/assets when compared to the rockets offer but Morey might have had enough and decided to take his offer off the table once he heard howard wants nothing to do with houston.

    It's that tool SAS...but he's prolly right.

Expect LAL v. MIA for the next 2 or 3 years till Kobe hangs it up.

I will surely be glad once that clown Howard if off the radar and Rox go back to the rebuild plan....

Les got his international cash cow in Lin, so even though we will prolly stink this year....at least Les' pockets will still be laced up.

    Let the rooks play!!

Look, just for kicks, if your patience is wearing thin, get on twitter and simply bombard all these r****ds with "Welcome to Houston, Mr. Howard" tweets everytime they tweet some stupid trade rumor that is going nowhere.

oh this latest story doesnt affect me anymore then the previous...I just doubt very seriously that Dwight will EVER play a quarter in Houston . LA 1 thing, HOU not so much. I would love to take Bynum, but that now may be just a memory

The only ones who are reporting it's close to being done are ESPN, who have already been wrong TWICE in the last month with similar reports. All other sources just say there are "serious discussions", "guarded optimisim", etc.

IF we had a small window to make the trade happen to land Bynum, should have pulled the trigger. Posturing is good at times, bad at others..

I want it to be over just as much as the next person, but this deal won't happen.

Larry Coon, a known Lakers guy, is actually being rational here. Follow him.

So let me get this straight, after holding out for Dwight for the "best package available", all they are getting back is Aaron ******** AFFLALO.:eek:

Just get Bynum for Martin, Jones, DMo and Toronto pick and be done with it.

Keep Lamb and White. Pretty fair value for a 24 year old top center and Bynum will stay long term and no more Dwight drama!

No. He literally tweeted that Dwight to the nets was 'all but done'. That's when I stopped believing any 'sources' regarding Dwight.

I'm not a huge Stephen A. fan but, he's usually right about off season moves. He was right about the Knicks not matching Lin a week or two before it was made official.

I remember specifically he was right about Lebron, wade, and bosh teaming up in Miami a whole week before Lebron's decision.

People thought he was insane and laughed it off not believing a word he said, but he was right.

Sean Highkin: So Orlando could potentially come out of this with Afflalo/Vucci Mane/some combo of White/Lamb/Jones/Parsons and a bunch of Houston picks. 1 minute ago

Agreed.....Stephen A. Smith isn't one of those guys that always throws out rumors usually when he says something it means he has heard it from reliable sources. If this trade goes down i will be highly disappointed.
