I'm talking about the next move after Dwight. We're gonna need a perimeter guy, a premier two-way perimeter guy. Affalo is severely underrated. And Iggy is Iggy. He's a very good player.

Wrong. Orlando is the team with their backs against the wall. Not us. Don't think for a second Dwight in Orlando isn't a depreciating asset.

We couldn't disagree more. Sure its stupid, but the Magic could keep Dwight. Do they want to? No. But, they could see what is out there mid-season. Yes, that would stupid of them. But, so far Hennigan is stupid. The man wants to rebuild an signs Jameer Nelson long term.

Morey isn't that stupid, and it is a stupid trade. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.

    Stupid.

    Hennigan: 30, first year GM

trade to build for the future with flexibility, picks and assets?
    or
    trade for mediocrity?

Be patient, we are the only good choice for Orlando.

Do you think anything will be out there mid season that is better than Martin/Patterson/Morris/Tor pick for dwight and a bad contract?

I don't. So why the hell would we offer what you offered when they will never be able to get a package from another team remotely close to that?

The Pau/Afflalo haul is literally one of the funniest things I have seen all day. That is garbage.

Sure, Batman Lopez (Robin is in NOLA), maxed out, gets Henny a great start for his future (as a hockey...mom).

    very!

At maximum for the rental....Martin, ONE of two (White or Jones), Morris, PPat, expiring fodder and picks...

    Motie - off the table
    Lamb - off the table
    Parsons - off the table

Again, Random Idea. I get what you are saying, but Hennigan sucks as a GM so far to be honest. Trading Anderson for nothing and signing Nelson. So I wouldn't put it past him.

Jesus, everybody attacking RedDynasty for his proposed trade is kidding themselves. Yes, it's more than I'd want to give up, but it's not the complete fleecing that you are all making it out to be. It's Dwight freaking Howard here. A couple months ago we were all willing to trade our whole draft and Lowry for him.

I'd love to switch Motiejunas with White or even Jones, but it's not like we're gutting our team like the Stein article.

So because Hennigan is stupid according to you, you're preparing to make him look brilliant with your trade proposal.

Do you get why everyone is so stupefied by your trade proposal?

Marc Stein: Houston, I'm told, actively chasing Delfino, who's at 15+ ppg on 49% shooting at OLY. Celts want him but can't afford him, Doc Rivers says 2 minutes ago

Apparently Bucher was on ESPN earlier and said Houston is out of the Dwight race. Guess that means he'll be a Rocket shortly

Worst Case Scenario- Deal goes through and Rockets get Gasol(ugh), Lakers are contenders and Dwight re-signs. Orlando rebuilds with our pieces(UGH).

Realistically- Deal goes through but Dwight is hurt half the year, go 48-34 and go out in 3rd round of playoffs. Rockets rebuild when Dwight re-signs.

Best Case Scenario- Deal is rejected by Stern. Orlando rots with Dwight, don't make playoffs, Lakers suck. Rockets at least have a chance to land him in FA, or we can just rebuild.
