Wow, you are just wrong. That's not what happened according to credible sources and Zimmerman's testimony (passed a lie detector). Zimmerman was rightly concerned about the safety of the community during this period of high crime rates. You should be mad at the vandals in the community that had been robbing houses -- it was their actions that put people like Zimmerman on high alert. But why did Martin attack Zimmerman like he did? Why was Martin so aggressive? Zimmerman was trying to protect the neighborhood when he confronted Martin. Martin told Zimmerman that he would kill him. It was only after Zimmerman was jumped by Martin (after Zimmerman was walking back to his car!) and beaten to within inches of his life, did he pull the gun and save himself from a certain death. That is far, far different than "killing Martin for walking in the rain with Skittles." Have you even bothered to read about Martin's history of violence and drug use? Good grief, this guy had trouble written all over him, and a lengthy rap sheet at a very young age. Hardly the sweet little angel that the media portrayed to stoke up these emotional flames. I'm assessing this in a rational, reasonable manner, free of all emotions. It's very hard to say that your side is doing the same. Unfortunately, the racial component makes some so emotional that they will disregard any and all facts.

Also, as we can assume that TM was unaware GZ was carrying a weapon at the time of altercation, we can also assume that GZ was unaware that TM was carrying skittles and an iced tea. Your standards of convictions are lower than the State's. You can't assume anything, there must be some kind of evidence to support that assertion, and to my knowledge there is none.
Your quote above is a complete lie. The gun was on Zimmerman the entire time during the fight until he pulled it. If that weren't the case, then Martin would not have been sitting on top of Zimmerman punching him, he would have been reaching for the gun. Have you seen Zimmerman's interview? He goes through all of this. This story passed a lie detector and lines up with the police report and witnesses.

Actually that is false. You don't know what you're talking about. TM was not suspended for assaulting a bus driver, and there is no proof that he ever assaulted a bus driver.
Not that it means anything... There was an episode of After the First 48 that aired tonight that was a case from Miami where the suspect used the Stand Your Ground Defense after chasing and then stabbing a thief who stole his radio. The Judge agreed with the suspects claim of self defense via Stand Your Ground. I was sure that defense was not going to hold up. The ruling was around the time Trayvon was killed.
You are trying to deceive by hiding behind a technicality (by claiming that there is no proof) -- his older brother said he did and the school isn't answering questions. His parents evaded answering when asked. A 10 day suspension isn't handed out for good behavior. Put 2 and 2 together.

Go back a few pages and read from there -- you're wrong. Martin jumped Zimmerman and brought the fight to him. He beat Zimmerman to within an inch of his life and only at that point did Zimmerman shoot him. I suppose Martin was offended for being 'targeted' by Zimmerman, which is just hilariously stupid because after a string of home invasions, I have NO IDEA (sarcasm) why any person trying to protect the community would be concerned about a teenaged male on drugs and with a history of violence walking aimlessly around near houses in the rain. Again, if you want someone to blame for the initial intervention, then blame the vandals in the community that put everyone on high alert.
