lol, corporate society now deeming non-consumers of their latest capitalistic weapon to be "dangerous."

Unbelievable. If it weren't so believable. I wonder if it's too late for them to get an amendment in to the Patriot act. smh.

That said, the random sources of this "official" stance are ... well... pretty random and handpicked to make their point.

I signed up for one to play scrabble once and have never used it. never. The more I hear, the less I want to use it.

"resistance is futile - you will assimilate and offer up all your personal info on our spy database or we will blackball you from society so you can't get a job, a date, or even a room with a decent view - no you will be assigned to a courtyard view cell at gitmo instead"

Weird that some HR people would find that weird... says they're unintelligent and I would not hire these HR people who obviously make a witch hunt out of nothing.

"How do you know she is a witch?"

    "She looks like one!"

It's strange that people think this way, but very real.

I took several breaks from facebook in college so that I could focus on learning and stuff (foolish, I know). Every time I met a girl at a party or wherever, and we started to get comfortable, the first thing she would ask is "so, do you like, have a facebook?"

Man, the looks I got when I said no...

"She turned me into a newt!"

    "A newt?"

    "I got better."

So despite my outstanding record, I don't have a Facebook, which makes me socially awkward/a pathological liar/a terrible person so don't hire me?

What if I don't like people knowing what the **** I'm doing 24/7?

Then you clearly are socially awkward, a pathological liar, and/or a terrible person.

Most mass murders use cars to get where they planned to commit their atrocities, thus, if you drive a car, you are likely to commit a mass murder.

Seriously. I think in a way Facebook and other large social media is to blame. Facebook in a way makes people jealous or pisses some people off. So if you already a loner psycho the social media would definitely unleashed that anger in that type of a person. It's like a social status of some sort. Like saying you're cool if you're on Facebook or twitters or you're popular with large amount of people/friends. Loners who are bullied usually hate and with Facebook this is just rubbing it in.

No, though your obvious unresolved anger issues (which you've repeatedly put on display on this board) seems a decent enough indicator.

Then don't update your status 24/7? Not really too difficult.

Facebook is a good way too keep in touch with family/friends. That's all I really use it for.
