So Orlando rejected choice of Lopez Horford at $12-15mil but they're willing to get Gasol at $20mil?

At this rate, we're going to hear rumors of a 5-team trade where the Magic lands Tyson Chandler Carlos Boozer.

LOL at the Magic thinking it would be easier to move Pau.

Bynum is actually an unknown, health and personality wise. What Philly is next year is actually irrelevant, since a lottery protected 1st rounder was already traded to Miami, so the earliest they can get the pick is 2015.

The only pick they would get next year's is Denver's. Denver's picks aren't as valuable, but they do figure to be in the 15-20 range.

Good for all the teams involved, I really hope this trade gets done. Don't want trash Howard on the Rockets.

Well, Kwame Brown plays for philly, maybe the Lakers can use him as the centerpiece to acquire an all star post player in his prime yet again.

Yes, what they want. We know the Rockets have the Toronto pick they are offering, but what else? That is the question. When we don't know what the Rockets are offering, how can we say this isn't the best deal for the Magic? A late lottery pick isn't really more valuable than a pick just outside the lottery when you don't have the chance to win the lottery.

Remind me how/why this is in the GARM again?

Does the Rockets get a bag of potatoes in this deal?

Does this even make the Lakers the favorit to win the west?

    Nash
    Kobe
    Artest
    Hill
    Howard

Is that line up good enough to beat OKC?

Aaron Affalo, middling draft picks, and Pau Gasol for Dwight Howard? Welcome to the Rocket Fitness, Orlando. You're treadmill is right over there.

Hill will honestly surprise people when given time at PF and with an elite defensive center covering up his mistakes. But I still don't think this trade will make them better

With that correction, yes I'd say so. Kobe is still a top 5 shooting guard. The Thunder will have to deal double Howard, leaving Harrington or Jamison open. Plus, they got one of the best playmakers ever- Steve Nash- overseeing the offense.

most of the games vs okc went down to the wire, of course that's enough to walk over any other team even the south beach divas if battier and chalmers have an off series.

From what's been reported, Toronto's pick, Dallas' pick, one of our rookies, and one bad contract.

Any team that gets Gasol will not have a pick just outside the lottery. They will have a pick fairly far away from the lottery. Gasol may not be a superstar, but he'll make a team competitive.
