With a career like the one he's had, he's earned his right to say things like that. I don't even mind.

The man has a right to be arrogant imo. I respect him because of his willingness to play through some bad injuries and still be dominant. I don't particularly like Kobe, but I respect his game.

lol man this guy's gotta lay off the cocky pills...

Sure he's had a great career, but in today's world you just also happen to need to be a good human being to be appreciated

i dont always post in Kobe threads but when i do its to show respect. Best of this Generation hes allowed to say that stuff. IIRC MJ used to say arrogant stuff like this too; its jus part of their persona and what sets them apart from the rest.

His work ethic is great and all and I respect his game but this is just ridic.

He didn't do squat in between when Shaq left and Gasol (in his prime) came. Also, they did have the highest payroll in their last 2 championship runs.

He did some amazing scoring, more amazing than any AI/Tmac scoring feats. Plus he had that infamous lineup of Kwame/ Walton/ Parker as his starting mates.

Those were wasted years of his prime, but he ain't complaining

Actually they were going to trade Kobe before Pau fell in their hands, to CHI, but the bulls wouldn't include Deng...and there's am old post claiming at the time, les thought about it, but assumed TMAC would stay healthy, and most fans at the time 2005-2006 did not want Kobe...

Well, the Chandler question is stupid and an esay one for him to catch.
Does he really make his teammates better? Shaq of unstoppable, Gasol at his prime, well he had a lot of help for sure.

If you thought MJ's Hall of Fame speech was bad...wait til ya hear Kobe's. Those 2 are cut from the same cloth. The positive and negative.

Some of you softies are so sheltered you're actually offended by these statements. It ain't nothin but the truth and Kobe spits it like fire. Only issue with this article is someone using Tyson Chandler and post moves in the same sentence - athletes shouldnt be the only ones tested for bath salts.

Not many people who aren't dictators can pull this off, but Kobe can.
