Same here, I am scared ****less of roaches. I'm ok with spiders or pretty much anything else. But I'm terrified of roaches. I might jump if I see a bug or something but only because the first thought is "It's a roach!".
This. I've been doing a lot of DIY around my house and thats been making me climb into our attic to work. Sometimes I literally have to stop, take a few deep breathes and tell myself that I'm OK.
Meh, phobias seem silly to me now that I have a family. I would climb a mile-high tower seething with spiders, snakes and flying cockroaches in the dark for them. My only fear is someone snatching them up and doing who knows what. His so cool dude what?
I wouldn't have a second's hesitation of blowing your head off right here and right now in front of 'em. Now, that's power you can't buy! That's the power of fear. And you always fear what you don't understand.
Spiders. I honestly believe it is because I was allowed to watch "Arachnophobia" at a young age. I also would always come home and watch "Wild Discovery". They did one on spiders, and one segment they said, and I think it was black widows, "Black Widows are known to make webs under toilet seats". For years after that I would lift the toilet seat to make sure no black widows would bite my ass.
Slow death...burning, drowning, suffocation, torture. However after I became a father my worst fear is something happening to my kids.
That's one of those quotes that stuck with me. Iv'e been thinking about it a lot lately, powerful scene.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." taken from Coach Carter
Holy s****, i just watched a video that popped up in the related videos about a Miami cannibal. Now my biggest fear is my face being eaten off by a black guy(or cats) whie I'm sleeping naked under an overpass...
