Supply and demand. He is hoarding them all so we can put them on the market later for a good markup. lol
Little trivia: Rockets drafted Najera in 2000 at #38, then traded him to Dallas in a deal for the 31st pick (Dan Langhi). http://www.clutchcity.net/feature.cfm?FeatureID=70
I feel like someone should have an intervention for Morey, why do we need more forwards, especially power forwards? It had to be a player who is under 6,9 as well. Where's David Stern when you need him. I feel like he should pass some rule that limits the amount of players that you could add to each position. There's no reason to have more than 4 or 5 players at one position unless you have roster made out of twigs.
So if the Rockets really are considering adding Najera as a veteran presence, would it be fair to assume that a least one minor trade is in the works? The Rockets already have over 15 (partially) guaranteed contracts and over 20 players total on the current roster. Also, how great would the outrage be on CF if Morey were to cut Greg Smith in favor of Eduardo Najera?
spears probably just threw the rockets in the mix for the fact that edua is a power forward. Rockets interested in __________(insert pf of taste) sources say!!! see how easy that was.
I always liked Najera. If there is a trade in the works, I'd think he'd at least be a good veteran to have sitting on our bench. Great for practices and such. If he takes a lot of time away from one of our young guys I'll be pretty annoyed.
