    Whoever wins the gold, does that mean that the country will add 11 gold medals to their country's medal tally? Or does an event just count as one?

    I like rooting for underdogs. And it was the Japanese team that got me into watching (women's) soccer anyways. Just saying everybody has their own reasons.
