Seems like they went to the next-best US store and popped some, decided they liked them and made a list. Left out some of the best beers in the world and half of the list is US beer smh.

    Ones I've tried:

    1. Trappist Rochefort. Only tried it once, it's commonly referred to as a best beer in the world. It's excellent.
    2. Pliny Elder. I really like this beer, it's shelve life is very short though. Have to check the date on it.
    8. Aventinus. Probably my favorite on this list. There's a German pub I go to by my house, I can't just order an Aventinus immedaitely, I have to work my way up, starting with Maximator, then Optimator, then Aventinus.
    13. Sam Adams Noble Pils. I don't like most American beers, but Sam Adams is one brand that I almost like every beer they make. Them and New Belgium.
    15. Allagash. I wasn't crazy about it, but I can understand how people like it.
    20. 21st Amendment. Their restaurant is in SF about 20 minutes from where I live. It's a great place. I keep some of their canned beers in my fridge. Monk's Blood is very good, Black IPA is good. They are most famous for the Watermelon Beer, which I dislike.
    25. Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout. Excellent beer. I love it. Probably my 2nd fav. on this list.

Guess I'll have to take their word for it. I say good for Olympia but wonder where Bohemia is.

That list is more elite than the "what are you listening to" thread. JK Manny.

It definitely missed a lot of great ones, but I have no problem with US beers being on the list. The US makes some of the best beer in the world.

I tried only three on the list: aventinus, Saison Dupont, and the Sam Smith. Aventinus and Sam Smith are also some of my favorite beers though I have a limited tasting experience.

The Saison was alright. I saw it recommended on other beer lists like this one. I remembered it had a fruity and a farm-y taste. It was pretty different from the other beers that I've had before.

The most interesting man in the world STRONGLY disagrees with a certain beer left off that list...

    And so do I.

Rochefort 10 is the correct answer.

Good beers, but seems very N-America heavy.

And yes, Rochefort is quite possibly the most amazing beer I've ever had. Most everything Ommegang puts out is incredible as well, surprised they did not make the list.
