At 280+ lbs I had a stand up triple on a cleanly fielded ball into the right field corner in my league softball game last week... that's pretty freaking boss.

There's a Catholic joke in there somewhere, but I don't want to have to go to confession.

On August 9, 1999, I played a well known member of this BBS in a pickup basketball game. While he usually plays much better than me, I played like a god this day. I was draining long range bombs, grabbing every rebound, even driving past him like he was nothing. In short, I completely dominated. It is a good thing for him nobody was around to see me embarrass him. however, since that day, I was never able to reclaim the glory and the mojo that I had that glorious afternoon.

I was literally at the height of my powers that day, physically and mentally. It is something I wish I could recapture.

skied some pretty crazy pistes, played competitive tennis, climbed K2

but my proudest achievement was playing in the Edok Eter Mandilas, LTD monthly soccer match in Benin City. Once a month, the expatriates would gather for a VERY ROUGHLY played soccer match @ the Edok Eter Mandilas compound. The teams were usually split between the Lebanese & Greeks...a lot of scores were settled on the field. Visiting my parents in Benin City while on a break from school my freshman year in HS, i was asked to play on the Lebanese side...i was terrified (i knew most of the adults) but played well, even took out the big Greek named Corobilias aka "the Butcher" (i think he was hurt pretty seriously)

    Hole-in-one at golf.

Half-court shot at the halftime buzzer against Mayde Creek my senior year for the district championship. Put us up and the momentum carried us to a win in the second half.

That year against Terry also featured my favorite individual play. I dove into the stands at halfcourt while saving a ball. I was able to throw it to the other side of the court (width-wise) and Terry recovered and started towards their basket. Their star player (ended up playing football at A&M) ended up with the ball driving in for an easy layup until I came out of nowhere and swatted it back into the stands. There was a whistle and the place went nuts as I obviously got all ball. The next time down the court, there was another foul called and as we lined up for the shots, the guy told me I didn't lay a finger on him and said "nice swat".

Ok, at first I wasn't gonna post, but I see stuff like Frisbee golf being included, so I can put in my two cents.

Bowling: 2 300s and 2 800s in sanctioned league play
Baseball: a no hitter when I was 11

    That's about it.....

Played basketball in YMCA league in 8th grade. In our last game (we were undefeated at that point), we only had 5 players show up. Unfortunately one of those players had broken his leg the week prior and had a cast on while walking with crutches.

The other team figured we would forfeit, but the rules said you only need to START the game with 5 players. After that you can finish the game with as few as 3 (I think...maybe 4). So our cripple dude stands on the court at tip-off, then hobbles off while we play the rest of the game 4 on 5...and proceed to stomp the 2nd best team in our league. It was glorious. Even our scrubbier players had great games, and I had probably the best game of my life. The opposing team was so dejected by the end of it. It was awesome.

Oh, and one time I saw a blimp.

When I was a kid I came 2nd in state table tennis.

But lost all interest in table tennis soon after and just played basketball all the time.

Watching the olympics makes me feel like I should have played more table tennis.

12 rebounds,2 steals, 4 blocks, 9 assist and 0 pts in a champioship intramural game. Half our team was in class so we had only 4 people play the whole game...we lost by 6 points.
