    I achieved my long time goal of a sub 20 minute 5k recently. Finished in 19:52. Was pretty proud of that.

    I guess the Olympics kind of got me

    If I can get to 500 Yds in 12 minutes. . that is a HELL of a workout

    Went through high school football during Ramadan. Football class workout followed by 2-3 hours of practice after school everyday. Saturday practices as well. You never appreciate water until you cant have any when you need it and it is right in front of you. All this mind you in Texas Fall weather. I feel bad for the kids who are trying to fast during summer camps right now.

    as a freshman in college I shutdown an all-conference senior who I was marking at mid-field. Rang a shot off the upper 90 corner which would have turned out to be a game winner, as well...

    I have had plenty of more productive games at different levels, but that's the one I remember most fondly.


    the name Pete the Cheat was dubbed during a game vs. our rivals in high school. We were playing at their place and I had an "unnecessary" collission with their keeper. They started chanting "Pete the Cheat" and a nickname was born

    When I was 16 I surfed overhead waves in Mexico. Just making it to the outside was an accomplishment. Many older, more experienced, surfers didn't make it out that day.

    At 44, I'm still feeling good about my level of play in Ultimate. I think I'm still improving as a handler and I can keep up with the youngsters running.

    1st place blue ribbons at valley oaks elementary from 3rd to 5th grade!
    Ran the mile in 7 minutes by the age of 19. this was a big deal since a year prior i was a huge butter ball.
    Like christopher, I also rode the tricycle, twice in a 24 hour period...takes a lot of endurance.

    Had about 4 hat tricks in soccer in my life (last one came when I was a sophomore in high school)
    Scored 30 points in a basketball game when I was 9
