won 110 hurdles and triple jump in 9th city tourney...still don't know why I stopped track after that because i liked it. Guess just got caught up in football and basketball.

A few HS football games stand out...it was just one of those games where you made plays all over the field. Just in the zone.

Basketball, same thing my sophomore year although missed a lot of time in HS due to injuries jr and sr year. Won a county wide 3 on 3 basketball tourney.

Beat Jeff Chapel in a 21 knockout from 3pt land when i was 15.

    In order of occurance:

62 pushups in 60 seconds (basic training record for Tank Hill, SC)

A marathon and a dozen triathlons as a smoker in the early 90s.

    Tough Mudder as a smoker.

(again, to just complete them was a huge accomplishment for me as a smoker)

As a non-smoker...no such accomplishments worthy to note (hard to say "yea, I came in the last 25% at a recent Warrior Dash)

But maybe by next year I'll claim some of my lung capacity back and start finishing better. Thats my hope anyway.

    edit:

ohhhhhhhhh, a hole in one at the Shelby Forrest Disc Golf course. I think it was hole 11...straight, downhill.

i recently won my championship match in my local 3.5 tennis league.

I had previously been the "T-Mac" of my league and couldn't get a playoff win.

I was 12-2 on the season with the #1 seed and this one guy, an asst. on the Clippers coaching staff, very athletic and competitive, gave me my only two losses of the season, both three set very close matches.

he was the #2 seed and it couldn't have been scripted better. it was another epic three set battle but this time I fought with all my might and did it all for the glory of love.

I felt like I was Andy Roddick.

I also remember the feeling when I scored my first soccer goal in 4th grade. my dad was never prouder.

shattering the Rice frisbee golf course record. To this day, I think I'm the only person ever to eagle the rock. Plus, I got a 3 on the "hole from hell."

My course record will never be broken!!

because new buildings on campus have destroyed the course. Multiple holes are no longer playable. It is an object course.

My funnest accomplishment was my first hole in one -- it was at Moffitt Park.

I played at the "black" court at the UH Rec and my team won like 5 consecutive games, defending our court, until I couldn't lift my leg anymore and we called it a day.

Oh I also won first place at a dart tournament.

At about age 11 I was on a gymnastics team that won a city competition, though I'm pretty sure my skills were not what put us over the top.

We went on to the state championship, which was in San Antonio, and when we got to town, there was a sniper loose in the city somewhere (not by the meet). Only one other team showed up, and I don't think the results counted, if we even finished. Kinda blurry after freaking out about learning what a sniper was and all.

While there, I won a side competition for walking on my hands furthest/fastest. Probably my biggest contribution to either event.

Wait, I won a spelling bee once, too. Didn't ESPN make that a sport?

Winning two annual Kata tournaments at my Karate club back in the days.

Making a game-winning 3pt shot at end of the buzzer by running full court, crossing over one dude, faking two guys that are simultaneously going for the block behind the 3pt line and swishing it in their face. Was in school, but still my best basketball moment.

Or my 1st time at the local basketball club, nobody knows me and I'm on fire for 30+ points and making like 15/17 shots.

Wish I would've invested more time into sports. :(

in college I was first in a fencing tournament I entered, and was the most valuable player in a team tournament that our 3-man team one that same year.

In practice sometimes we'd divide up half the people on one team and half the people on another team, and basically have a huge 20 on 20 fencing melee combat. Our 3 man team were the last three standing at that. It was a blast.

There was one soccer game I played where I was on defense, and nobody got by me the whole game. I've never had a game like that before or after, but for some reason that day, I was in my best form.

Once with a single action pistol at a practice tournament for CAS I shot down 5 targets in less than 4 seconds. The time wasn't really that great for the regulars, but for me it was a personal best.

When I was in 8th grade I was playing in a basketball tournament. The final game would decide if we made it to the national tournament. I dropped 35 points, 5 threes and some sick AND-1's. Best game of my life.

I never had a good winning streak like that, but I did have one game where I sank 5 threes in a row from the top of the arc (my worst shot) and then chased down a guy and had a Hakeem-on-Kevin-Johnson style swat from behind to save gamepoint. The UH rec center... those were the days.

I also freaking smoked everyone in a racquetball tournament once, won 5 matches in a row while giving up less than 15 points total.
