If your cable or satellite broadcasts NBC you can watch it their or on their website. If not: http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/132...er-games:-london,-united-kingdom---day-9.html http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/134021/1/watch-olympic:-athletics---finals.html
Powell only 3rd, wow. Gatlin 9.82, expected him to be a candidate for the medal. He has at least 9.7 in him right now.
So, when did they reduce the number of team members in gymnastics team competition? Had 7 when US won gold in 1996, only 5 now. Is it a limit set by the competition's governing body or something?
Good stuff, I still predict Bolt will win and will set a new olympic record, (but not beat his world)
3 americans, 2 jamaicans....that means we'll still have one left if the other 2 tackle the jamaicans, eh? I still think Gay's being overlooked some...his time wasn't great, but he also pulled up fairly early like Blake. I expect him to push the rest, even if he doesn't medal. Hell of a lineup!
Why do sprinters pull up early in prelim rounds? Will a few extra seconds of running fast exhaust them for the final race?
Nah, they try to hide what their limit is and want to shock their opponents in the Final. Right now no one knows what Bolt, Blake or Gatlin are capable of, all other finalists ran nearly 100% this season and have no element of surprise.
