Miami is not even on that list.

And how big is the Asian market? Especially now with Lin here?

My wife likes chocolate ice cream. I like vanila. No matter how much we discuss relative nutritional values or whatever, she still likes chocolate and I still prefer vanilla.

Furthermore, since she is a fan of chocolate, she can rattle off a thousand different statistics about antioxidants and phenylethylamines 'proving' chocolate is obviously superior and to a lesser degree I can do the same with vanilla.

But in the end, she still prefers chocolate and I still prefer vanilla.

The Orlando board on Real gm now saying they think a deal with the Rockets will happen before training camp and that Morey will get desperate.

They said they just want Parsons/Lamb/Dmo/2 1rd for Dwight/1 bad contract.lol

I just can't see ANY GM especially Morey destroying his entire team for a one year rental

    Me neither.

Throw the team away for a one-year rental, while everyone here spanks themselves into a frenzy that Dwight wouldn't leave $30 million on the table and just walk.

Unfortunately, Morey often talks like this, too, about free agents, and I don't think Dwight's "thinking" is reliable.

A year from now we'd be in Orlando's boat, or worse.

Lakers and Orlando fans are such homers, but we even have posters here espousing Dmo/the 2012 rookies/Toronto pick/Dallas pick/Mmorris/Ppat/The kitchen sink/My PIN number for Dwight gonna-dog-his-rehab gonna-dog-his-time-on-the-hardwood Howard.

Just a Clutch City fan - who thinks people get a little carried away at times.

Not Carl - but was a fan of the real Carl Herrera back in the day (as I suspect were many of us.)

    Are they serious? Link?

Somebody needs to show them what Utah and New Orleans got for their stars, who weren't a possible one year rental.

Jesus. Morey will 95% most likely give up one rookie, some picks, Martin, and some throw-ins if we're taking back a bad contract like J-Rich.

    Honestly, why does it matter?

Fans will be stupid, but it has no bearing on how any deal will play out. There won't be anything any of us can do to knock sense into any of them. Let them believe what they want to believe, and it it doesn't happen, they will be severely disappointed.

Morey isn't the only GM clever enough to create cap room?

And it's always nice to force someone to stick with you. "I don't want to be here." "F*** you, we've got you by the balls."

Dwight would still have limited options, but remember, Dan Fegan is Duh-wight's mouthpiece, he's the puppet master, and he doesn't have a good relationship with the Rockets.

Probably we could wind up with a trade one year from now that netted us less than what we give up, maybe a trade with the Clippers or such, since the goal seems to be getting our team on TV and revenue stream (*cough* Lin!). We could trade can't-make-a-free-throw (DH) with can't-make-a-free-throw (BG), if it's a matter of market size for Duh-wight (and it is).

If Morey can hold onto some of the guys we just drafted and get Dwight, how wonderful. If he can trade for a 2nd star this year and make Dwight and Fegan go, "Gee, Asian market, second star; what's not to like about the Rockets?", how wonderful.

But one year of "how great, we're on TV" only to watch some combo of Lamb and/or Dmo and/or Parsons/Royce/Jones flourish elsewhere?

We're going to suddenly win championships because we traded for a center with a bad back and no desire to stay?

What, he won't sign with us for five years then start pulling the same crap on us that he did with Orlando?

You don't think he'll dog his rehab and not give 100% on the court, using his back as an excuse (because who can say other than him how bad he's really hurting?)

Dude quit being lazy,I hate when people ask for links just type in Real gm Magic click on their forum and go to their offseason thread pg 66.

*Now their talking about getting Ellis/Iggy to pair with Dwight.lol they have no assets to get either player,we have a better shot at getting Ellis/Iggy than they do.

I like how he's "a center with a bad back" instead of "The greatest big man in the game right now, bar none, and there's nobody in his stratosphere".
