2:00-3:00 also. If you want to compare Shabazz to Yi (aka Workout Warrior) and get on that side of the fence against Shabazz, then be my guest. I'll stay on his side, and we'll see which side is right in two years. Oh yeah, this kid is also 18! He hasn't played a game of college bball yet. With that size as a true SG, there really hasn't been a physical specimen like him Iguodala, and before that Kobe. Sure, there's also the T-Mac/Ariza/Donte Green/Paul George body type, but as we've seen the decreased quickness of being so tall can only be balanced out with other basketball skills like court vision, shooting, defense, etc. Yeah T-Mac in his early years was just as fast as (and probably better than) Kobe, but we all saw how long that lasted. Perhaps a guy 6'9 just isn't meant to play SG at that speed for very long.

LOL at Melo says his selfish rep started during Linsanity. MSG was booing him and telling him to pass way before Lin became a factor. Source: http://usat.ly/MaqiLh
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/04/nyregion/spike-lee-to-stick-with-his-knicks.html?_r=1 You Can’t Shake the Knicks Out of an Utterly Mad Fan Like Spike Lee .......... All right. Fast forward: What happened to Jeremy Lin? Mr. Lee sighs, deeply, as if daydreaming of an old flame. He was there in the front row when the player from Harvard ran rings around Dirk Nowitzki. He saw Mr. Lin “drop 38 points on Kobe Bryant’s head. Insane!” So what happened? Spike shrugs. “Presto! Change-o! Abracadabra, hocus-pocus, he’s gone!” No act of Knicks management/mismanagement has pushed more fans toward the Nets than losing Mr. Lin. It remains a sort of urban mystery to Mr. Lee, like why the doors on the local subway always close just as the express arrives. Mr. Lee is not inclined to second-guess the point guard for taking the money. He even gets leaving the old neighborhood; Mr. Lee relocated from Fort Greene to Manhattan’s East Side because fans were ringing his doorbell at 4 a.m. But who leaves New York? “Orange and blue, the mecca and all the love he got here?” Mr. Lee shakes his head. “Has he ever tried walking around Houston?” Whatever. Mr. Lee will be there when Mr. Lin returns to the Garden as a Houston Rocket. He’ll watch Mr. Lin snake down the lane, and he’ll expect the Knicks to do what they must. “He might get whacked.” There’s that cackle again. “Not personal. Just basketball.”
Spike Lee sounds like a typical deluded NYer/Knicks fan. I lost all respect for him when he tweeted what he thought was Zimmerman's address, but instead it was an old couple's house, who then got death threats/harassment. He could have gotten someone killed.
NBATV is doing "Jeremy Lin's Greatest Hits" today and tomorrow if you can stomach watching some Knicks games.
David Robinson on JLin. http://offthedribble.blogs.nytimes....-the-stuff-dreams-are-made-of/?ref=basketball
^ His comment about Hakeem and the Rockets was very nice too. The very first thing he could think of as probably his only regret in his career.
It seems the LINSANITY hasnt stopped. Since he joined the Rox it seems its even bigger here on Clutchfans. I hope he lives it up to it. I will be the 1st one hating on him (Jordan Hill and Budinger style) if he doesnt out play Dragic. He has to be better then Dragic.
why? Dragic had more experience, already better stats, paid more and is in much better situation. I do not think Lin can jump to Dragic level in no time.
Well why don't you get to it right now? Seems like your just looking for a reason to hate, but the fame and hype on this site held you back , your prob gonna start hating once he got his 1st TO.
Robinson seems like an overall classy guy. Really couldn't hate him back in the day, but loved what Hakeem did to him in the playoffs.
