    Brave

A lot better than I thought it'd be. It's not anything you haven't seen before but the mother-daughter relationship was handled well. And the short La Luna was awesome.

TDKR -- 7.5 I liked it....not quite as much as TDK but that was because of Ledger's performance.

TED -- 6 Just what I thought it would be. Parts of it were funny...especially the little lines that were throwaways.

Snow on the Bluff - 9/10

I thought this movie was excellent. It's like a documentary/reality tv. Hard to tell what was staged and what was real. Executive produced by Michael K. Williams, Omar on the Wire.

    Friends With Kids - 6/10

Not bad, but a little too much cheese for my tastes. Expected better from this cast.

    Incendies (2010)

    8/10

This is a very dark movie set in a fictional country in the Middle East, whose war is modeled after the Lebanese Civil War from 1975-1990. A mother's will asks her daughter and son to go from Canada to the country to find out about their past.

The acting was great, camera work and sound was incredible (please watch this on Blu Ray), and the plot was very interesting though tragic because of the ending. The director chose a fictional country to discuss the themes of war's effect on family, humanity, and forgiving one another.

However, there were many technical details wrong in this film, and if you know the region well and are a nitpicker, the movie might not be as enjoyable. Also, this is not a fast-paced, action-filled 'war' movie like Black Hawk Down or the Hurt Locker. Some will find it very slow and boring.

    Beasts of the Southern Wild.

    If not a "10" on a 10 scale, how bout 9.7/10?

An indie movie, very touching and well done.

Why didn't I see this post before yesterday? Having heard nothing but good reviews, and funny one liners, I finally ponied up and went to see it. I now wonder if everyone was high, or if they just felt since they wasted their money, everyone else should go waste theirs as well.

    3/10

The beginning is terrible. It picks up a little bit with a few funny one liners, and scenes, and then it goes to horrible again. They took an idea that might work in a 30 minute family guy episode and turn it into a movie while actually trying to make it into a corny movie. Worst movie I have ever seen in theaters. First time I actually considered just walking out.
