I'd love to see this, more emphasis on Batman being one of the smartest people in the DC Universe. I don't think they'd be able to do Batman Inc though. People barely knew who Bane was, no way you can throw in Oracle, Azreal, etc.
I'd like to see a movie where Jason Todd is Robin and eventually gets killed and where Batgirl gets shot to eventually become Oracle. So many possibilities with taking Batman in multiple directions. Seeing how he'll deal with the loss of Todd would do good on the big screen I think.
I thought Prometheus was disappointing but this totally takes the cake for this summer. Not only was it disappointing but terrible. I know I'm suppose to suspense my disbelief but so many scenes and actions are just so stupid and cheesy to begin with. The only bright spot is Anne Hathaway as Selina aka Catwoman but sadly her terribly directed actions so pretty unbearable. But seriously, is Nolan an anti action director or he's trolling us? Can't believe how freaking terrible the actions and the fight sequences play out. I'm serious that I think the 60s Adam West Batman and Robin had better fight choreography than any fight in this movie. So is Bane hands make of steel? He sure can break solid walls without a scratch with his punching power. Another scene which suppose to be serious but turn out a bit awkward and funny because the way it was frame and her awkward possible where they all stood around listening to the villain dying last word or a moment of silence while the bomb is about to go off. One thing I will give Nolan credit for is that he knows how to end his movie on a high note.
I know they got everything down to the T from the original novel. Feels weird not hearing Kevin Conroy as Bruce though but whatever.
no... the fact that we can actually know what is going on in the fight scenes between Bane an Batman is a major improvement.
and your only reasoning you give is "are Bane's hands made out of steel?" Its a damn comic book movie. We are not watching a documentary on WW2 or something. What exactly did you find wrong with the cinematography of the fight scenes?
The initial fight was one of the worst I've ever seen, and I've seen Steven Segall movies. Batman fought like an angry teenager fights when his dad finds pot behind his bed. Just. Awful..
Hahahhahahahha.... Rasputin12 knows his stuff... Tell me this CF, compare that Bane vs Batman fight scene to Ip Man's fight scene?? Yeah, I thought so..
People always want to try to be different. "Gaaah, Halle Berry had real cat ears, not goggles. TKR0- 2/10 would not watch".
All three movies had bad fight scenes, but Begins might have been the worst of any movie I've ever seen.
