Kobe's a world famous multi-millionaire in peak physical condition and has all the confidence and charisma that comes with it. He gets "offers" every night, everywhere he goes; and only one in nine might predictably be black.

maybe it's because black and white america treats black women like ****

yet they do 70% of the child raising, bill paying etc for the black community on their own

Dude, it's not 90 million dollars. That's so ridiculous, even if you heard that from a friend, how can you even believe that?
She'll probably make a couple mil a year until the next Olympics.

Double standard, young girl protection compared to male rough treatment

So then what do you do - be more respectful to Lebron, or does the girl have to have thicker skin?

In a little irony, the "what applies to one side can apply to the next" to thing is sorta what Skyrim is on, just 5 times more conspiracist

Not saying its TRUE, though if women are "pressured" into their unpleasant situations by some male coercion, couldnt guys be pressured into theirs by women? How come women are so "susceptible" but guys arent? Or guys can just "take it"?

Probably more an issue than necesary because it contrasts to the Olympic "spirit". Olympics are supposed to be pure and classy and melting pot of world coming together putting differences aside. And those comments by comparison look really divisive for petty reasons.

Though I think I'd rather bad comments about hair, rather than countries PROTESTING and at war like past Olympics.

And yet you felt the need to not only post nonsense, but also do a smh? As if you contributed anything?

You need 2 good acres in The Woodlands. I'll give you a head start. I know you have no idea what this means. It just means you are stupid. I would have shortened the words with apostrophes, but I wanted to help you out.

90 million dollars is low you seriously underestimate her potential:

Sports-marketing experts said the Corn Flakes deal for the Summer Olympics sweetheart is just the beginning, adding that she stands to potentially earn more than $100 million in endorsement deals.

dude, real talk it's because most black women have less hair than my 80 year old (white) grandfather, and when they see something not weaved up or to what they think it "suitable", they trip.

basically, they're HATIN' because that Gabby girl has a full head of hair.

I'm not underestimating it. I have no idea how to estimate so I don't bother. I was going off of this CNN article that says she'll likely make $1-3 million until the next Olympics. It does say she has the potential to make this money for a long time, like Mary Lou Retton did. So if you assume she does this for a good 20 years then yeah, I can see the 'potential' to get close to $100m. The likelihood of her making that much is a whole lot less I would imagine.

If any of that is true, you are an anomaly.

SMH - an Clutchfan thread on the Dating Habits of Black Folx which starts from a few tweets from an extreme minority of black folx that the media chose to blow up like they were the norm.

I think this line of thinking is the problem. Why is it that a successful black male/female is an anomaly? The perception of black women you see in rap videos and on the news is not the norm.

I work in accounting at my company and there are 3 black women and 3 black men in the accounting/finance group. I know for a fact that 3 of them have college degrees (1 of the females is a manager.) People may view this as an anomaly but to me, its reality. Black people have those that are doing well for themselves and others that are a drain on society. No different than any other race.

    Because TV told them so . . . .

Reality is what the perception is . .. and TV shapes perception
