I got a position back in the Houston area, so I'm headed back to H-Town! I can't wait. I've lived in Dallas-Fort Worth since 08, and it's never really clicked for me. I've had some good jobs and experiences here, but it's just not home. Most people won't understand it unless they've lived in Houston, but it's an awesome place to live. People are laid back, know how to drive, and my favorite teams are on local TV. I'll be looking for a house in the League City area as my job will have me splitting time between Clear Lake and Galveston Island.

Congrats! I've been living in Los Angeles for the past 2 years and I miss Houston like hell . California has been growing on me but it's just not home. My heart is in Texas and I type this as I wait for my flight to Houston.
Not technically Houston, but you never know they way they annex stuff. My wife is all over it. Thanks, Dan. See you soon.
Congrats, Xerobull. While I don't have any interest in moving back to Houston from Seattle, I can definitely understand the appeal if you were living in Dallas! I've been working to set up a book club meeting for the new Abercrombie book with some old friends in Houston when I come back sometime in the fall. I'll make sure to drop you a line as well.
This is as good a thread as any to announce that I am moving back to houston as well. I will be on norf side woodlands area
same thing with "Houston, we have a problem." they should have said, "Clear Lake, we have a problem.".
