keep up the good posts.. it is funny to see the blind bias and hypocrisy some people have on this board.
GUYS! I just made a ridiculous claim, I have NO proof at all besides what I think and some stuff I heard from some guys. But I KNOW that 99% of athletes are unclean, and YOU are a fool if you don't believe me.
just thought this was a good article to share about Ye Shiwen and the new approach to training http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-33747_1...iwen-smashes-record-draws-doping-speculation/
If you think my claim is ridiculous and it's just said by "some guys" you are blind and biased. And majority doesn't equal "99%" so stop overreactin.
Well since you felt comfortable saying 99% of people agree with you, I figured I'd exaggerate like you...but I'M over reacting You want to shut me and everyone else up, provide some PROOF. Or stop being an ass at the fact people aren't taking your outlandish claim at your word.
You know there's no proof, just common sense. And I do think the vast majority agrees, maybe not in this thread because you guys like fairy tales and wear pink glasses. I can't believe some people say my claim is "outlandish", outside of this board you would get laughed at.
They just had a swim off for the women's 50 M Free and that was the first time I've ever heard "She needs to swim a little angry.."
I believe he's got one relay left. He's likely to end up with 4 golds asnd 2 silver medals. Do you really think he's washed up. Looks like he just had a bad start, maybe wasn't focused enough.
Well, even if you say he's washed up, he's better than most of the swimmers in these Olympics judging by how's been performing lately.
Phelps was 15 years, 11 months, but anyway, he didn't SMASH THE LIVING **** OUT OF THE WORLD RECORD in the same way....he broke the record by .26. Ye smashed it by a full second +, combined with some ridiculous splits. Here's the difference. I want you to read this very closely, so that you will understand; Making huge progress vs. your own subjective standard, and incremental progress vs. objective standard = not so suspicious. making huge progress vs. subjective standard and SMASHING THE **** OUT OF ANYBODY WHOEVER LIVED AND SWIMMING FASTER THAN MEN objective standard = more suspicious. Do you understand this? Or do you need further explanation. They're not guilty by default, but definitely more suspicious by default. Maybe they shouldn't have engineered the greatest cheating scandal in swimming history if they wished to avoid this fate. Lewis tested positivie for OTC allergey reliever Sudafed and was cleared of inadvertent use. This is the same way every single runner used to have an "asthma" diagnosis, btw...look it up. That ain't quite the same thing as chinese swimmers pullin the ol' "THERMOS FULL OF HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE AND SYRINGES" trick, like what happened to the CHINESE NATIONAL TEAM in the 1990's.....in the greatest drug scandal in swimming history.
Wow, Katie Ledecky, a 15-yr old, just won women's 800m freestyle for 8:14.63. A whopping 20 seconds improvement in a year! John Leonard must be screaming "Doping" somewhere. LOL. "Yeah, I went for it. I just wanted to go out and try and control it. I think at the end of last August I was swimming 8:35, but I've learned how to train hard and train fast and this is unbelievable. The crowd were incredible for Rebecca but I was a lot less nervous and being in a race with those great girls was incredible."
Except that 1) She doesn't swim for a program that has a recent history of massive organized cheating, prior to which it was utterly irrelevant in the sport, and 2) didn't smash the world's record by a huge margin...or at all Does anybody here not understand the concept of "distinguishing factors"? The fact that China has run an outlaw swim program that shipped HGH in thermoses around the globe is kind of a big one. I know, i know, michael phelps, carl lewis, Rafalca....but it's a big one.
