LULZ, wut? I posted word for word the entire quote, includes 'roads and bridges' in post #397 in this very thread. The. Entire. Quote. Be careful though, the rest of the speech makes him sound even more anti-business and disrespectful of business owners' hard work.

Here it is again for you, since you appear to be struggling to grasp this.

Here is the full quote from Obama's Meltdown: If you've been successful, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think well it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than anybody else. Let me tell you something, there are a lot of hard working people out there. If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have to allow you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The internet didn’t get created on its own. Government research crated the internet so that all of the companies could make money off of the internet.

Coming from someone who is as successful as he is, and a bunch of the most successful Americans in agreement (most notably Buffett), I don't really see the point of you enumerating this out as if it's some victory point.

This is a very good point. Man is not an island, as Romney and his "I BUILT THATS" have discovered.

Ho Ho Ho. Your reading comprehension has failed you again. Please please please read my posts carefully before responding. I do not have time to waste on your silly games.

Or maybe you really can't read well can you? I said why are the Republicans in their attack ads editing out "roads and bridges" if it's so clear his exact words are so clear. I never referred to your post ever. Ho ho Ho. Don't play dumb (unless you really are dumb).

I can sense your arrogance and fake confidence failing you TJ. It shows in your post.

    Our ruling

In speeches and videos, the Romney campaign has repeatedly distorted Obama's words. By plucking two sentences out of context, Romney twists the president's remarks and ignores their real meaning.

The preceding sentences make clear that Obama was talking about the importance of government-provided infrastructure and education to the success of private businesses.

Romney also conveniently ignores Obama's clear summary of his message, that "the point is ... that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together."

By leaving out the "individual initiative" reference, Romney and his supporters have misled viewers and given a false impression. For that, we rate the claim False.

    Still false...

    I have to laugh

Obama Campaign Taps Small Biz Owners To Say They ‘Built That’ — With Support

As Republicans continue trying to cash in on the out-of-context “you didn’t build that” attack on President Obama, the Obama campaign is assembling an army of small business owners who say that they did engineer their own success — thanks to the opportunities afforded them by generations of American taxpayers.

The new Obama push, details of which were obtained by TPM, highlights small business owners across the country in a series of state-specific press releases and events throughout this week aimed at highlighting Obama’s “vision for an economy built from the middle out — where hard work pays off, responsibility is rewarded and everyone gets a fair shot,” according to the campaign.

The push is tied to Obama’s call for an extension of the Bush tax cuts on the middle class. But the business owners make clear reference to the continued “you didn’t build that” fight.

I think it was more out of sequence than out of context...

Paul Ryan's Family Didn't Build That

His family built its fortune on public-works projects

Paul Ryan is a living, breathing GOP example of how public infrastructure and private entrepreneurship work hand-in-hand.
