Do you work at the Cookie Dough Factory? Aeropostale?

There are several black atheletes who have won gold medals. I am sure your co-workers were talking specifically about gymnastics (I would hope), but even then they are wrong. Google "Dominique Dawes".

I'm sure they were talking about "individual" gold. Dominique won gold in the Team event.

btw: she's still super hot with fine hair :p

I think the issue with many black girls lacking pleasantness is their survivor mentality. They're simply too concerned with the bills and the guy manning up to understand the intricacies and beauty of life outside of that. There's a chip on their shoulder - and lot of attitude comes with that. Black role models like Beyonce rap about Bills Bills BIlls, be a Survivor, and TLC talks about Not being a scrub. Is it racist of them to assume all black men are lazy? Probably. But they're essentially turning themselves into masculine freedom fighters who pride themselves on their "Strength" and "loud opinions" than supportive, feminine creatures with nice skin. That's where the white/hispanic women pulls ahead and why guys like me and Tyson beckford are lost in their allure. It's not just looks, as I am equally attracted to Rochelle Aytes and Naomi Campbell physically.

My ancestor Quincy Jones is another guy a lot of unsuccessful people hated on because he married a ton of white women. Cassandra Sturges puts it best when she says, "I believe that in Quincy Jones' case he married, not white women, but women who could look within his heart and validate his highest image of himself. Because of the emotional, financial and social pressures of today, some blacks are not able or psychologically prepared to give each other the soul food that is needed to nourish our dreams of tomorrow. s a black women, I wonder if sometimes we are too bitter when sweetness is in order; too stern when being laid-back would suffice and too hard when softness could do it so much better.

Maybe it is impossible for us to give our men, what we are seeking to obtain for ourselves. Maybe it's difficult to trust with shattered faith, love unconditionally with a bruised heart and support someone else's dream with a broken spirit. Because the typical American white woman's past did not contain the same type of pain as the American black woman, her vision of the black man is not blurred with criticisms and expectations."

    Brilliant article.

FYI ~ You all are arguing and debating a 22-year-old 'Sony Fanboy' who doesn't know how to spell ridiculous (ridicolous) or ridiculed (rediculed).

Those who dismiss it are either overly simplistic in their existence or clowning themselves because the truth hurts. The higher ups know it, and luv it.

But since I'm a compassionate person, I'll break it down for the hangout.

BLACK MAN, SUCCESSFUL, NO LIKEY, BLACK WOMAN ANYMORE

    Y? :eek::eek::eek:

WHITE WOMAN LOOK INTO HEART, INTO SOUL, AND LOOKEY GOOD NAKED

BLACK WOMAN NO DO THAT, TOO MUCH ATTITUDE AND BLAME EVERYONE ELSE LIKE MEDIA FOR PORTRAYING BLACK AS UGLY AND WHITE AS PRETTY

BUT ANSWER TO HER FRUSTRATIONS, LIES WITHIN HERSELF

The truth is all there is.

    Stay thirsty, my friends.

Maybe it's just me, but trashing a woman's looks is different than trashing a straight dude's.

    The difference?

Amount of ****s given by the target.

Comparing that to this? Nah. That's good old fashioned joking around like in the barbershop. This $hit right here is just ignorant. There is a difference. With Gabby it's more of saying she has to look a certain way by getting a perm or putting a weave in or whatever. It has a slight malicious undertone to it. The girl just made history and certain folks are already finding something to pick at. Typical crabs in a barrel.

I think a dude that looked like Ja Rule stole his girl in 10th grade. It's been video games and stereo types ever since :(

Superstar NCAA basketball player who might be a man, but said no to playing for the Olympic team, so not sure why mentioned in this thread.
