You don't want to watch that game. Lol. He was terrible. Nothing to recommend from that game except for 12 turnovers between Lin and Baron Davis and Rondo grabbing 17 boards like it was a video game or some ish.
I'm really glad that the NBA TV is doing re-runs of the Linsanity games. i can't tell you how many times I've talked to people that look at his stats and say "Meh nothing special. He's overpaid!" During free agency, you'd get know-nothing New Yorkers saying "Men lie, women lie, numbers don't lie" and never seen one of the games, except maybe the ones that aired on national TV, and say that Lin was overrated. Typical head-in-the-sand, out-of-touch, center-of-the-world arrogance for NY. To have any sort of informed opinion on Linsanity, one would expect that it'd require at least watching some of the games. But for the trolls out there, obviously that hasn't been the case.
Most in NY have watched his games, which is why there was an outrage when he was not matched. Most in Houston have not watched his games, which is why the consensus here still thinks he is overpaid. Lots of people are going to be surprised next year and praise Morey, even though it is pretty obvious all along that Lin is still underrated.
I have league pass and watched all his game last year and think he will be solid. I'm more interested in his progress/adjustment in year 2 vs the upcoming yr. Unless he plays like a top 3 or 4 pg, that balloon payment in yr 3 is gonna look crazy.
The balloon payment doesn't matter any more. He now counts as $8.37M each of the coming 3 seasons for cap purpose, which is the only purpose that matters. His salary is the same as Rodney Stuckey's.

Thx for the clear up. You've mentioned stuckey several times and I don't know why the pistons gave him that much either. They bid against themselves in that one which is different from lin. I remember posters calling portland crazy because they gave mle to matthews after 1 yr. He's been a good value at mle money. Don't know if 8.3m is good value for a solid.
