are you kidding me? is it necessary to label you China hater? you are known for that, labeling you? it's just a waste of time
Lol, I got into his sig. Apparently, he's still in denial about hating China. But yeah, any rigging done by the judges gets less outrage than when players manipulating seeding. Kinda sad, isn't it?
That Floor performance has to be the best in the competitions yet her score just ranked no. 3. A lot has to do with the audience too I'm afraid. Credit to Douglas's charisma I guess since she has displayed a joyful performance for every routines and brightened the arena. Every time Douglas finished a routine, the audience reacted like that has to be a "must 10". Victoria, on the other hand, looked so nervous and barely smiled.
Gonna throw this out there since I saw them mention it on PTI - Peeing in the Pool: All swimmers do it. In fact, coaches wont let you out of the pool to use the restroom during practice unless it's to take a dump. They tell you to pee in the pool (and when I coached, I did the same thing to my swimmers). We'd also play a 'game' (girls included) called "pee face". After you finish a set, you'd pee, then when someone else finishes, you'd splash up the water that you peed in and yell 'pee face'. If you were an upper classmen on a relay with lower classmen and you were leading off, some people (I never did this) would initiate the other swimmers by peeing on the blocks so everyone had to stand in it. One girl was notorious for doing this, and she was insanely hot, not what you'd expect from a hot chick. Good times.
wow. wow. anyway, I knew Gabby was special. Thought the squirrel had potential. I'm kinda surprised I haven't watched too much of these games. Sucks being grown up and having to work.
the basketball games, were really interesting, the russia-brazil and GB vs spain, down to the last minute.
You need to get a job where you can watch it at work! One of the perks of being an energy trader working the night shift... not much going on, lol.
Go look at the breakdown of their scores. The two girls that scored higher than Viktoria Komova had a higher starting difficulty by .3 and only had a lower execution score of .2 and .3 each. Neither three had any penalties. Gabby even had a higher difficulty than her by .1 and her execution was .1 less. Only four gymnasts out of the 24 competing scored higher than 15 on the floor and I think the commentators said only two did it in qualifying. Americans aren't desperate as they won all-around Gold in the last two Olympics. If anything the Russians would be since they were shutout in Bejing apparently, and got beat down in the team final. If anything it shows the flaw in gymnastics...having medals decided by judging giving subjective scores. Douglas earned it...good for her.
I'm drinking the haterade tonight. Totally enjoyed watching Lochte not get gold in both races, and then seeing his beet red faced father fuming in the stands.
