Sounds like an adventure story... so I'll learn something new from this? I'm not looking for just entertainment.

Btw, I just finished "The Perks of being a Wallflower" and it was okay. Wordplay was a little simple for my tastes, but it was a very mature book. I can't believe I didn't understand the ending right away.

    Oh and thnx macalu.

I learned a good deal from reading the Lost City of Z. It's a true story, so at the very least you'll learn about the two people who are the subjects. But you also learn all sorts of things as well. It was a fabulous read. I'm glad I picked it up.

Listening to Earth Unaware. It's the first of a planned trilogy prequel to the Ender series from Orson Scott Card. Reading Rediscovering Catholicism by Matthew Kelly.

Lol, sounds good. Have you watched the show at all? I bought the book because my friend was saying he loved the show and I had heard good things about the book. I watched the first episode of the HBO TV show from iTunes and wasn't extremely impressed. Wasn't horrible but it was too long, there was too much stuff left out, and there were little changes such as character's age.

How is it? I just finished reading Ender's Game for school summer reading and am contemplating reading the rest of the series.

I started part of episode 1 but once I figured out there was a series, I stopped watching. I want to enjoy the book without spoilers.

I figured I might follow the show as I read it, read episode preview to make sure I'm not skipping ahead and spoiling it. But now I'm thinking I will just finish book first.

I am enjoying it, but I think you probably want to go ahead and read the books in the order they were written.
