Dear rocket fans, As an unbiased fan who isnt blinded by the truth, i'd like to say if the rockets get dwight, they will not get rudy gay or josh smith. 1st of all, the rockets would not have enough assets to send to their respective teams for these players. and second, it is known that these two players are not on the block.
First off, the magic won't be able to ask for much in return for Dwight, cause at this point everyone in the league knows they have to get rid of him. Second off, Smith is an UFA next summer, meaning, the Rockets can offer whatever he asks (cause they will still have the cap room to do so). But good analysis.
As an unbiast Rockets fan I'd like to say that Rudy Gay sucks, and I hope to god Daryl doesn't trade for him. We would easily have the assets leftover to swing a trade for JSmoove though. You're an idiot if you don't think Smith or Gay can be had for the right price. Josh Smith requested a trade not too long ago, and it hasn't been rescinded.
Also, have fun paying 70 million dollars to your starting line-up that sports only one all star. Most expensive 45 win team in history.

While I'm not exactly sure what's going on in this thread, your logic is somewhat flawed. Sure the league knows the Magic want to unload Howard but they still have to compete with every other team that wants the guy. It's not like there aren't any buyers.
Gay has been trash for years. Luckily, the Gay lovers are becoming few and far between, as time goes on and Gay's suckitude is becoming more and more clear.
