Yeah well, but at the end of the day the guy he dunked on(Ante Tomić) is still better basketball player than him.
^^ This. Yi's still a bit of an unknown in the NBA. He's got some nice size and mobility, and a solid jumpshot. I'd bring him in cheap as a backup to Asik and check out his game more. If we're in a rebuilding effort, I think at the very least he'd be a decent asset to stockpile, all the whilst watching our youngsters develop.
He has no opportunity on the Rockets, there's an abundance of PFs on the team already and despite his height, he most certainly could not be a C in this league.
