Tracy McGrady couldn't pass the first round and he did try.

How does posting the MVP history show anything?

Like I said before, it's about regular achievements and he's not helping his team there one bit if you go by advanced stats and winning-percentage. No way MVP-worthy if you check out the facts instead of saying what a humble kid he is. The MVP got handed to him, as it was a gift to Barkley because people were tired of MJ.

Reply to that instead of coming up with a MVP-list, D-Rose videos, mocking McGrady or saying how great Rose is in your eyes.

well apparently you didn't want to recognize Derick Rose as a MVP.
I have to show you a video to prove to you that he won. Maybe not in your mind, but in the real world he won.

Why mention McGrady? the thread is about him 'possibly' signing with Chicago.
Also, others are trying to compare McGrady to Rose. I guess if he does join, then every Rose does have it's thorn.

I thought you, as a McGrady fan, that if he signs, he would finally play with an MVP.

Fail is what McGrady has been doing in the first round of the playoffs, so I thought you as a McGrady fan would be happy that he plays with a contender like Chicago.

Chicago has a MVP named Derrick
Rose. In the NBA, the commissioner David Stern hands the award over to the MVP. Here is a picture of that.

The MVP stands for Most Valuable Player.

I respect Tmac for not just hanging up his jersey and enjoy the rest of his life with all the money that he have. He's playing for chump change but he doesn't really care how much he makes but just wants to play basketball and win. There will always be haters out there and its sad that they can't just let it go.

I respect that he still plays basketball, the NBA is a tough league. If you slip, you turn into Steve Francis.

I also respect Derick Rose cause he's a MVP, he is humble, he is awesome, and he loves his hometown and they love him.

I also think it's ironic that the McGrady fans are fearful that Rose might injure himself.

One thing's for sure, Rose will respect his team and not give Stephen A Smith first dibs on his health status.

    Yes 99er,
I've never heard that term til the TOFs came here "MVP Type player".

Us Rockets fans just use the term MVP.

Ok, so Tinman, the only season that Hakeem was "MVP/superstar level" was 1994 because that's the only season he won MVP?

The other seasons he wasn't MVP level because he didn't win MVP right?

MVP level? Sounds like another made up Tof
    term.

Dream won one MVP . That year was legendary. He won dpoy and finals MVP .

It's a regular season award. And to win one is fantastic.
That was his best season. It was well deserved.

Why escape the question? He was trying to say that the dream won in 94 because he was on the 'mvp' level, right agreed. So not winning it the other years doesn't suggest he was near that mvp level...?

    I don't use TOF terms.

Dream won the MVP in 94. He won that regular season award cause that was the best regular season he had, leading his team to one of the best records in the league.

He didn't win in the other years. Other players like Magic, Bird, barkley, Jordan, won it. They led their teams to the best record in the regular season. so therefore they won.

Let me tell you TOFs something, we Rocket fans don't think "What if" we think "What did".

So what did= Dream won in 94. He didn't win in 95 because he was hurt most of the year and the Rockets record wasn't very good in the regular season.

I'm fine with it. I wouldn't change anything. I don't say what if.

I'm not jealous that other players won the MVP, there are other great players and legends.

It's not like Tracy McGrady fans trying to question Derick Rose's MVP.

Lol i like how you always try to give us a little venom with every post, why not just answer the question and stop the extra explanations for your butt hurt. We get it, the guy refused to give you an autograph

As for Rose... im from Chicago and to be honest and tell you what i think, hes not all that. Hes a score first point and would fall 3-5 on my top pure pg list. Your just n#thugging him because youll try anything to make Stacy ;) look bad.
When will you get it that not all McGrady fans are only t-mac fans. Wouldn't 'we' have left with him already if that were the case? You can trash him all you want but that wont change our perception of him. Falling in love with his style of play and scoring (and strictly that) does not mean i liked the antics he brings. They bothered me as much as the next guy but i got over it, maybe you should too.

TOFs don't get that Rocket fans don't care if Dream didn't win multiple MVPs, they just care that he brought it all and at the apex of his career he won it and we are proud of him. Just like you guys are proud that in a few games, Tracy scored more points than Kobe.

This thread is about Tracy and some of his fans have shown their displeasure of Rose winning the MVP and also criticize Rose for actually getting injured.

I'm not trashing him, I'm just saying his fans trashing Rose is backwards thinking. The Bulls have been one of the best teams in the league when Rose is healthy and he's really young too. He hasn't reached his prime and he already won an MVP and led his team to the conference finals.
