Since UH probably isn't going to have the best of seasons this year, it feels good to be ranked in something...

You sound like an intelligent guy who's sacrificed altruism for a more basic, animalistic, survival of the fittest. While this is my subjective opinion, I think you've wasted your intelligence. Let me start this rant with a quote:

"Rats and roaches live by competition under the laws of supply and demand; it is the privilege of human beings to live under the laws of justice and mercy."
    -Wendell Berry

When I say that you've wasted your intelligence, I'm thinking of this quote. You claim that most liberals are blinded by emotion, while survival of the fittest is based on the most primitive emotions displayed in almost every known species. Fight or flight response is a basic animal instintic of individuals that brings about survival of the fittest in a social group. So you're contridicting yourself by displaying purely instinctual, emotional mindset.

When displaying a basic form of altruism to society, the indiviual is supposed to sacrifice. That's the point. It's not the easy way, because it is a sacrifice.

You rationalize your primitive survival of the fittest perspective, by backing it up with monetary figures, or short sighted statistics. It's the easy way, because it causes no internal conflict for you. There is no deciding between right and wrong, because you can go right to the tangible figures that act as your decision makers.

Best advice I could give: Evolve a little.

Does anybody else find it funny that texx always says when you result to name calling you lose? What did he just do with that first post? He lost, I guess.

I'm still waiting to hear how I fall into the "Quanell" genre or how I rate as liberal on his agenda. The funny thing is in the Trayvon thread we pretty much agreed on the same thing so what exactly does that make him?

Then why include the nicknames at all? What purpose do they serve other to invoke the insulting of others?

they're easier to remember with simple nicknames.

You're more likely to remember "The Streisand liberals" versus a "type 1 liberal". It's the science of how the brain works.

It's impossible not to insult a modern partisan American. Shame on you.

Actually a very good idea, BigTexxx

Unfortunately, we can't do the same for conservatives because there's no need to separate them into categories. They're all equally shortsighted, backwards, and intolerant.

dude has delicately pranced around the Quanell list he cleverly came up with and named.

I hate to be the one to say this, because I'm no racist, and I need you to know that...

but look into the mirror, brah.

I didn't make the cut but I did make the exclusive "white" knight category.

funny because my posts in D&D lately have been mostly about anti islam and anti gay rhetoric

A list to "provide a primer to the right-leaning posters of the D&D" subsequently boiled down to a level its intended audience can digest?
