I mean the developers aren't going to give the 49th pick in the draft a great rating out of the gate as a rookie. It's just not going to happen. Parsons had a horrible rating as well, but unlike Selby, Parsons actually played good and upped his rating.
Still it's a lack of basketball knowledge when they give him bad shooting ratings and athleticsm. He can have a trash rating all over the board, but not in his key strengths.
I mean Jimmer only had a B+ outside shot when he came in. It's not like this is the first time they've done this. It's all about their skills COMPARED to other NBA players. Like Josh Selby is very VERY athletic, but is he as athletic as say, Blake Griffin? No he is not. That's why they don't give him those ratings
The problem is a rookie that shot lights out from 3 in NCAA will have a trashy shooting rating only because he's rookie, while a NBA vet with a mediocre jumpshot will get better ratings automatically, even if it doesn't translate at all shooting-wise if you compare the guys.
Yeah I can't wait to get the rookies in the game! Just hope they are rated halfway decent cause some of the ratings were garbage
i loved playing with the rockets online when t-will was on the team. he was a beast lol. and in 2k11, i loved having yao, but that's over now lol. on 2k13, our team is going to be pretty horrible, but hopefully the rookies will have good potential for association and stuff. as for the soundtrack, i think it's really really good. 2k11 had a good soundtrack, 2k12 was kind of annoying lol, but 2k13 is going to be really good. you can just tell by the names, if kanye has 3 songs on a soundtrack, it's going to be a good soundtrack lol. we should try to organize an online association when the game comes out, it would be really cool to do that within clutchfans. btw my psn: htown_rockets

Yeah loved when twill was on team, I would run him at the point most the time and dunk over everyone lol...I get some good dunks off with parsons now but his shooting is horrible and his face looks funny not even look like him..def gonna roll with the rockets even though I'll always be an underdog I am a gamer so i will win plenty...I hope they got it again where u can know the players hot spots (loved that)... "basketball is my favorite sport I like the way they dribble up and down the court". Lol
