They had a lot at the Spec's on Memorial. I ended up buying a case of the Shiner Ruby Redbird since they are about to quit making it for summer. I can guzzle that stuff like water it's so good. I know it's no IPA, but I ♥ it.

That is also my summer beer of choice. It's amazing, especially with a frosted mug.

Let me know when Christmas Ale is out. About the only beer I can drink besides Mirror Pond Ale.

I remember the first time I tasted St.Arnold's, that **** was disgusting. Tasted like vomit. A friend bought some and I tasted hers... I thought maybe her breath was making it taste like that. I opened a new one and it tasted the same. It was like apple vomit.

I suggest you beer fanatics check this beer out(if you can find them). I don't think you can really find a better crafted beer in America.

I rarely drink now days. But I can guzzle these beers like it's nothing. Absolutely one of the best tasting beers I have sipped.

A friend of mine got dome DR12 yesterday, and he's going to share one with me. I haven't had the chance to try for myself ever.

It's the recipe they used for DR #11. Wish it was easier to find.

The Endeavor? I've seen it all around Houston. Not sure how it is there in the ATX.

How bad is you'girl'friends breath to make you think that???:confused::confused:

i suggest two different things... first, better women who use mouthwash, gum, and toothepaste... second, repeat suggestion number one...

oh man, i tried this the day it came out... Fan-fuuckin-tastic... especially for the summer next to a pool... i introduced it to my buddys and all thier girls, and it is currently the beer of choice for everybody...

i have been slacking on picking up a bunch of cases... i know its getting yanked from shelves soon, so i need to get on it ASAP...

I agree with everything you said, EXCEPT i like a frosted glass bottle waaaay more than a mug...

Cant wait to try some Divine #12... hopefully it is good... i'd like to know peoples thoughts on the ale...

Found some today at Fresh Plus in Hyde Park. They had it in the back so I had to ask for it.

Yep. I haven't seen it in grocery stores, although I'm sure I could hit Specs. The Flying Saucer here has it too.

I don't love Deschutes, I think it's a bit overrated (same with much of Oregon beers, which are just a step behind Colorado and California for me) but its def better than St. Arnold.

The only St. Arnold beer I find exceptional is Elissa and I normally hate IPAs. The rest of the bunch is just meh. It's too bad they don't have more local competitions

I have noticed a lot more beers from Real Ale Brewing co around Houston lately when I was home this summer. I never got a chance to try one, can anyone tell me about it?

I've bought Endeavor at HEB in Round Rock (off 620) recently.

I only like Mirror Pond by Deschutes. The rest are "ok". I was in Bend,Oregon watching the USA ski team practice, and that's when I first tried it. Normally when I do so happen to drink at home, I try to find some Mirror Pond. That stuff is just great.

mirror pond is fantastic... usually don't have a problem finding it either.

Endeavor is definitely one of if not THE best beer St. Arnold's makes. Damn fine DIPA. and i'm still a fan of lawnmower, summer pils and their christmas ale but i would agree that as a whole their brews aren't the best.

Lawnmower is definitely a favorite of mine that I've just started to appreciate again this year. I've always been a huge fan of the Christmas Ale, but I think I liked the Sailing Santa from this past winter even more. I believe it was a combo of the Christmas Ale and Elissa IPA.

I've never had Endeavor and haven't seen it around here in ATX. I work up in RR a few days a week so I'll have to check out HEB.
