It will be. I think that the game has gotten much better every year since 2k10 (maybe even longer). People who hate that the CPU picks off too many passes this year, just need to stop making stupid passes. And every game will have complaints/glitches. 2K13 should be awesome.
Great lineup. I don't care how indie 2K's previous artists were. I'd rather listen to good mainstream music than crappy indie music.
Don't you mean NBA Elite... oh wait nevermind: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/E9I3sf7TOAE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Awesome read, thanks...I always get NBA 2k...this years pre order bonus has me pumped up too with the all star contests etc set in Houston...now how many of u guys actually play with the rockets is my question? Only team I play with!
I don't like them in the game, the big men blow and rookies were underrated. Plus some jumpshots were a pain in da azz release-wise. I mostly played Cetlics because I like my PG to be floor general, so Rondo was perfect for that and I averaged 10+ assists with him online, triple double threat. Then you got Ray and Pierce for the 3s, KG with his midrange and athleticsm, Bass a solid addition.
Yeah, I can't be the Rockets in 2k, it just doesn't work out. In that game you've almost gotta have a dominant perimeter player. I hope they improve the shooting, I hate how I have to choose between real % and shot timing. It should be somewhere in the middle. I shouldn't be able to drain threes with Dwight Howard because I time it perfectly. At the same time, I shouldn't miss with Ray Allen because I was off or I shouldn't miss the wide open, perfectly timed three with Kevin Martin because his three point percentage isn't as high .
Shot timing % takes a player's "openness", shooting ability, and shot timing all into consideration. I only use real % with free throws because they are too easy. No matter how perfectly you time a release you won't make a three with Dwight Howard... maybe a 1 out of 20 chance lol.
Grizzlies are my team online. Mike Conley is one of the best 3 point shooters in 2k. OJ Mayo is overrated regarding his scoring abilities, but that's what makes for a good 2k player. Rudy Gay can do it all. He's great from 3, elite when driving in the lane, can get some boards, and plays good perimeter defense. Randolph is a stud midrange shooter who can rebound. PF is, in my opinion, the most under-utilized position in 2K however. Marc Gasol is a true 7 footer who can board, solid midrange, and good post moves and post defense.
^^ Used Grizzlies in 2k11 to the fullest, went on a 40+ games winning streak online with them. I think I stopped using them in 2k12 because Selby was so underrated by 2k and that killed the fun for me, I wanted to use him big-time.
KG's mid range shimmy shot in the post is the easiest shot in all of 2k. Right next to Bynum's hook from 2 feet away. Or Yao's turnaround hook in the post.(If you have a roster patch.)
I always play with the rockets on 2k. 2k12 was lob city for Chase Budinger. I look forward to 2k13 with all our rookies!
Haha what on earth has Josh Selby done in college or the NBA to make the game developers give him a good ranking? And I'm a die hard Kansas Jayhawks fan so I'd really love to hear this. Frankly...whatever ranking they give him is probably too high. He hasn't done anything to speak of in his career so far.
