Thank you for the tips and congrats man! Do you take any supplements? I'll give your workout a try tomorrow as we have an off-day of practice.
That's pretty much what your OP sounds like to me. You know what to do, which is why you made sure to point out all the wrong things you're doing. So, stop them or get them in check.
Great work, man. Your arms are huge. How long have you been working out? Did you have to take any supplements or juice?
Yeah, i take a lot of supplements, its mostly protein. I need a lot of protein though because my goals require tons of it, but since you're not trying to get any more muscular, i would suggest a simple whey protein. Its the cheapest kind you can get and its good for beginners that are just looking to add some protein into their diet without spending too much. A $30 dollar jug should last you a month. I typically spend a little over $100 for my stuff, but i bet you probably spend more than that every weekend going out and drinking, right? so $30 a month shouldn't cut much into your fun at all... These are all my supplements by the way.. Spoiler
Thanks, i appreciate it. Ive been working out on and off since i was 16, I'm 21 now, but i really started getting serious about it a little over a year ago. No, I'm all natural, i never took any "Juice", but a lot of people always ask that or tell me that i do and to be honest i find it a little offensive, but yeah i take a whole bunch of supplements to reach my desired physique. Its all natural... I usually enjoy working out and see it as a hobby of mine, but recently its been starting to feel like a chore.... I read your thread about losing the weight and the skin creases, good job man! Did you get a lot of compliments about your new appearance? It feels so good doesn't it, knowing all the hard work you put in. People I haven't seen in months look at me and tell me i look like a different person, feels good.
This is correct. You can do as many pushups as you want and even do lots of cardio (run, basketball, soccer, bike etc.) but unless you clean up your diet you will never see abs. Watch the sugar and bad carbs obviously but what's not so obvious is watching the sodium.
Cutting calories is a good way to lose your muscle mass. Fat accumulation is regulated by the hormone insulin. Insulin levels are a function of genetics and the amount of carbohydrates you consume. Cut sugar out of your diet to start with, see where that gets you. Semi-starvation is not healthy.
How the **** can you be 22 yo and playing 'semi-pro' soccer and have belly fat? Wait until you're 32...
Thanks man. I've heard of Whey Protein but never got into it much because I was afraid that if I didn't workout regularly the effects wouldn't work. And since I don't have time at all to hit the gym I never tried them. A friend of mine started out with 100% Whey then changed for Creatine, he's became a mountain today. Check out Wayne Rooney, he's one of the best players in the world and has a similar body. I myself am pretty "ripped" everywhere outside of my belly, and my game relies mostly on speed, strength and technique. Don't ask me how it works, it just does.
