Thanks for clearing that up guys, thats one good thing for the new CBA then! Really does limit Dwights options now, hes totally screwed himself with his opt in last year.

Even if we do land Dwight, what is his status with his back? Would he be sidelined to start the season? Even if he does play, how healthy will he be? Will he use the injury as an excuse to sit out the season?

We could go through all this drama to get him, only to go through more drama with his injury, and in the end he may just walk.

    Best option, IMO.

I feel like if 2 of the 4 end up as potential all-stars....Morey will go down as the illest talent picker ever.

I can see it (maybe) in Lamb and D-Mo....But what if it's Jones....or ends up being White?

Would be dope to have a young team with massive talent and not have to do anything but let them get used to NBA ball.

Hopefully get a high pick next year and then this team will be beast in about 2-3 years......all without having to trade for a buster.

Im down with this but the biggest problem we have is there is such a logjam at PF, how can one of these guys breakout if they are all vying for the one spot? Lamb doesnt have much competition but the rest all do.

Morey won't until the trade deadline.

    More mediocrity :)

Most team aren't expecting much from the next draft. I hope we will miss the Toronto pick due to protection.

Agreed...but all things considered it's a great problem to have.

Jones and White are shifty enough to play some at the 3....

Parsons is the man but if Jones ends up being the better option, parsons can be a excellent 6th or 7th man.

The team is stacked and Morey has set us up well.

Odd man (or men) out is likely still considered valuable to another team, then you can make a trade and solidify the starting lineup without having to give up much.

The position the team is in now is where they need to be, and rather than trade away 2 of the 4 without sifting out what you have first, would be a mistake, IMO.

Pointless to start the inevitabile a year behind schedule all for a "what if"

Typo smack? Nice. I really don't have a problem with your opinion. I have a problem that you are the one obnoxiously talking down to The Cat, acting like you 'owned' him or something, but then when people call you out on it, you complain about people talking down to you. When Cat pointed out your sky is blue statements don't have any relevance you resorted to childish derision.

    Wait and see.

I could be right....and I could be wrong.

At this point all we can do is wait and see.

I'm leaning more towards right, though.

Cool? You're ignoring the rest of his post. Why don't you respond to it, instead of pretending that he didn't write it? You remind me of a couple of members who post in D&D.

because I didn't feel like rehashing the ****.....it's no need.

Agree to disagree is how I took it.....I said "cool" and kept it moving.

But naw......cant do that now can we? lol smh

As far as what happened......go back and read...I made my comment....dude said it was a horrible analogy (basically...didnt agree with what I was said cause it wasnt in line with the "get Dwight by any means" faction), continued to talk down as if he gets paid for this analysis and we're all morons....and I followed suit and talked to dude just like how he was talkin to me.

I post here because bleed the red....Rox are my favorite sports team PERIOD.....not here to prove some isht to names on a screen.

We can chop it up.....debate whatever...

But you get what you give dealing with me.

    Just sayin....

If we do trade for Dwight, I just can't see us losing Lamb and Motie. Those guys have such talent and potential and would play great with a dominating post presence.

As much as I like Jones, especially after that summer-league showing, he'd seem most likeliest to be gone, with our glut of PFs and all. As well, if we do trade for Dwight, Morey wouldn't be done with moves. He'd have all the motivation in the world to put a guy like Smith, Iggy, or Gay (most common names thrown around here)

So, really, we wouldn't be in much of a position to tank for the '14 draft if Dwight leaves, unless we get rid of said secondary star for more picks.

Hmmm...whichever path is chosen, I think we'll all be satisfied one way or the other.
