After listening to Lamb's father's video I just got a lot more excited about his future. Don't trade!

Lol at this thread. Lamb not attending the camp doesn't mean he's getting traded. The chances the Rockets trade him in a Howard are slim now considering The organization FINALLY is beginning to rebuild.

Training like this (and summer league camp) is why I didn't want Motiejunas to go to the Olympics where the team would not have focused training specifically to Motie's needs.

It's the reason Yao going off every summer to play the Asian Games, and every other damn thing the basketball big wigs in the PRC could think of, drove me crazy. I never had a problem with the big fella playing in the Olympics, but they went too far. I think it shortened his career, and slowed the growth of Yao's skills. All my opinion, of course.

Gurg Camp never makes an average potential player to become an allstar or an allstar potential player to become a superstar. All it can tell you is the rooks is working hard right now, and they won't become a scrub like Thabeet.

I don't think Yao often played the Asia tournaments. He tends to play the Olympics and FIBA Worlds but sit out the regional qualifier, particularly when he began having injuries.

Although Lamb isn't going to the camp, I think he has his own plan as well. In the summer league, he played much better than a lot of people would have expected him to. It definitely means something.

Yes it does. He impressed me. I am excited to see the young guys play. There will definitely be a lot of growing pains and lumps but they will all be better for it. Plus the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. If they play hard and together they could potentially surprise a few people.

All three of our rookies going, could use the polish. Lamb, I figure just doesn't want or require too much extra work outside of his defense. But honestly, I hope the three going develop a bond that translates into fluid team work when two or more of them hit the floor at the same time.

I love that Motiejunas is going, despite the fact that he already has an advance skill level for a rookie. Most of his development will probably have to come physically. But still love the fact that he uses every source available to hone his skills and get better. Kid has a bright, bright, Future...

Other than his D, Lamb is not passing the ball well when he is doubled. Also he is not moving well off the ball.

    ^^^ Right

People on the boards post the craziest crap they can just for a dig or response. A lot of old school posters then post "don't feed the trolls"

Can I just say... None of our young players are going anywhere unless Dnightmare signs with us for more than one year. Les A has made that clear because we are in a build mode and Dwight can go to hell if he does not want to be a part of it. (Can Dwight even play ball yet.. what is his rehab status??) Dwight wants the money and so does his team and the people that leach off of him.

Dwight is lost in the fact that he will lose millions because he is a r****d and living in his own dream world of leaches that pump him up. Let time go on and he will wake up and have to show his rehab, his game, and sign a long contract. If he does not do it right he walks away from 30 million dollars or so.

Lets let Dnightmare stew in his own wet-dream of brain dead moves and let him think he is going to the Brook Nets... LOL.. haha.. Man his people really F'ed is head up.... and we really want to deal with him and his fantasies?? This dude is a joke.

    Go Rockets!!!!!!

Can I add that letting Dnightmare go is not bad. We can still make plays for Bymun as a FA... Plus.. We will DRAFT first before making FA moves!!!...

"Geezz US CRIPES".. people ..... stop trading off our draft picks like you are smarter than DM and Les.A.... This year is a game of new rookies .. Next year is a "CRIME" in the making, because the Rockets could be "Robbers". The NBA is about cap-space and we have that..

Let it happen the way it will play out. Open your eyes and just let it happen.

i wonder why we didn't hear about patterson or morris attending this camp when they were rookies. were they not invited ? maybe with all the youth on the roster, mchale figured he had no choice but to outsource some of the coaching this summer.

our rookies are gonna be cut out of wood, both mentally and physically, by the time this offseason is over. Mentally because a potential Morey trade has been looming over their heads since they were drafted, so they've had to develop thick skin. Physically because hopefully camp works them hard.
