Anne Hathaway is so damn hot in this. Didn't agree with casting her initially, but I'd say it worked out.
The scene where she did the leg stretch thing, she had one leg on the ground and was using the other to pin the guys arm to the wall, why not zoom out and show the booty? WHY NOLAN, WHY!?!
"Such a lovely, lovely voice" Bane was so full of win in this movie! Watched it again last night at home, and I must say the role was done so perfectly. The speech in front of Black Gate Prison....full of win...
Just saw this. As a life long Batman fan/nerd, I must say this movie almost brought tears to my eyes. Beautifully done, and loved the little easter egg hints (Dagget, sewers, cryo-sleep, back break scene). Loved it, loved it. Nerd-gasm is an understatement. The part where Bruse rises out of the prison moved me.
No body talks about that seen as much when getting out. Every hair in my body was standing up, crazy goosebumps! One of the best parts.
There was that report of someone getting to see it early, way, way early... that report said grown men would leave crying. After seeing the movie yeah, that report was probably true.
So John Blake was Joker the whole time? Joker realized his mistakes in the 2nd movie and turned into a good guy to help Batman in his endeavors, even had plastic surgery to fix his messed up face. Mind = BLOWN!
Talia hates her dad because he kicked out bane yet she wants to avenge him. She can blow up the city at anytime, but waits till the last moment? Bane traps the policemen, but keeps them all alive? They describe the prison as hell, but it is the Shawshank Redemption where it seems like everyone has a heart of gold. They had a rope down there yet they never thought about throwing the rope across the broken bridge? I guess Nolan wanted to go all out, but you had to stop thinking to really enjoy the movie.
Lol same probs i was thinking off.. All the things you mentioned are way bigger then any of the crap everyone whined about.
movies, and all stories really, dont always have people taking the easiest and most direct routes. otherwise there wouldnt be much story to tell. why did gandalf make frodo walk to mordor when he had this bigass eagle that could drop them off anytime? i guess everyone is entitled to their opinion but you should ask yourself why you go to the movies - to be entertained or to so people acting they way you think most reasonable people would behave? seems like people are being hypercritical of this movie bc its so hyped up. every movie has these issues, including the all time classics.
theres also an explicit explanation for all those things in the movie - you might not find them entirely convincing, but motivations are not completely ignored in this flick. if you really cant recall why these things played out the way they did, you probably should give it another viewing.
