I'm not talking about family, because you should care about their opinion of you. Other than that, do you care about what other people think of you?
This. If they somehow have an influence of my workplace or career then yeah, I care what they think of me.
I don't drink the cool-aid and don't care what other people think, because I have my own business and can coach my own team. DD
Your funny. On reality, after you graduate high school and or college is when you start meeting people that resurface in other parts of your life in unexpected ways ...and may have impact on your life and career. I've learned to never burn bridges ...which means you need to, generally, care what others think. Not a person alive has done everything in their life without help. All that said, I can't think of a single person I knew in high school, that isn't still a good friend (30 years later), that has had any bearing at any point in my life post graduation.. ScolaIsBalin, relax in high school and have fun. Whatever you are thinking now ...it gets harder from here.
high school is the worst time of a lot of people's lives, mine included. you won't fully appreciate this now but it's also the most irrelevant time. none of it matters.
