    Of course, I vote for my favorite Rockets to be the starting 5 in for the ASG every year. Besides the ASG is a joke(popularity contest) so am sure Lin might get in as a reserve if he plays well.

    Exactly. If you are wondering this question NOW then you completely miss the point of the all star game. It's their to reward the best players of the season - not to see your favorite player.

    You've got 150 or so guards tied for 1st in PPG, APG, PER, WS, SPG, BLG, FG%, 3PT%, and FT%.

    Once again I think people are grossly misunderstanding exactly what the All Star Games are. They are a popularity contest and have absolutely nothing to do with merit or playing like an all star or deserving a spot or putting up All Star numbers. If it the games had something legitimately to do with talent, Love would have started over blake griffin and rondo would have been voted in along side deron over rose. I thought people new this already but I guess I was wrong.....

    If it were 1994 I would vote Scottie Brooks in as an All Star candidate. So yeah, I'd vote for Lin.

    umm have u seen the all star game lately .. its ALWAYS about peoples' most favorite player .. if it was decided solely on performance, you would not decide who plays based on fans votes. you are only screwing your own teams players if you have that mentality bc fans of other teams are not thinking that .. but to each their own
