Not sure what Walt was implying at the end.. that he's going to kill Mike? Also, this entire show takes place in the span of just ONE year?? unbelievable.
I felt the Scarface bit was possible foreshadowing to Walt's ultimate fate in the Series Finale. And that looks like its going to center around Walt attempting to take out Mike. And it's ironic that Walt uses Victor as an analogy, saying "Maybe he got to close to the sun and got his throat cut" cause it's really Walt who's flying to close to the sun.
My initial reaction to the episode is that Walt is going to kill Skyler. The ricin is in[/in] their bedroom, where she retreated to this evening. She knows everything (an emotional and tactical risk that Jesse was unable to make, forcing him to end his relationship with Andrea) about Walt's operation and it's destroying her. In a way, Jesse spared Andrea of this potential fate, although it's unlikely it would've happened as Jesse has not shown the propensity for reckless hubris that Walt has. She has a nervous breakdown in front of Marie, who is married and dedicated to Hank. Her instability may cause Walt to get rid of her and fully become a purely evil individual. His family was the one reason he got into the meth game, but Skylar's knowledge jeopardizes his whole selfish operation now. I don't think it was a mistake that she walked in the rest of her family watching Scarface in tonight's episode.
I thought she said or meant a year since the cancer went into remission, because I thought one of the last two episodes referenced to everything being in a 2 year time span thus far
Spoiler seemed like it. i don't think walt is happy about mike taking all that money. though with jesse explaining to walt that since they made a smaller batch they still came out with a larger percentage then when they worked for gus. though with walt the way he is, could explode at any moment
Seemed like that story could have been a warning to Jesse, since he could go cook on his own if he wanted to. I'm guessing Jesse will eventually cut Walt out of the business, which could explain some of the events in the first episode.
