I know for the people here, that is a silly question. You will vote for Lin because he is a Rocket. And baring a monster trade for either Howard or Bynum, Lin and Martin are the best players on the team right now. Now some here will vote for actual best player and that's you choice. But to do think Lin has a chance to actually get voted in? Yao was voted in every year he played as a rocket, including years when Shaquille was better in the early years. Can Lin get the votes? Let's assume he does well but the team is still losing. And let's assume his "Asian" connection does carry the day. Will you be happy for him?
Yes, he has a chance to actually get voted in. If he does well but the team is still losing, then, yes, Lin can get the votes. No, I won't, because it won't be legitimate.
I seriously dont think he needs the votes......I mean we have all Asia and Asian Americans to do that. I say we vote for someone else so Houston at least has more then 1 rep for this years all star game.
If he plays like he deserves it. I don't know if I've ever voted before, so prob. won't no matter his play is great.
If Lin can carry our team to win more than 27 games in the first half of next season, I will change my opinion.
How are we supposed to answer this without seeing him play for us yet?? SO many pointless threads on here now days... =( no offense
I can't believe that's up for a vote. Usually people assume the vote will be a landslide so she just does it.
The All star games have and always will be a popularity contest. It has little to do with being deserving of being an all star. Winning regular season games is more important than being an all star.
Why not? If Kevin Love can get voted in based on individual numbers despite his team having a 17-65 record. Lin should be a shoe in if his stats are on par with what he did during the Linsanity stretch.
