Anyone know what kind of dog this is?

also do these kinds of dogs bark a lot? yappy dogs?

my daughter wants a 'white little dog'. This is the one she chose on google images. I told her this was a puppy but you have to admit this little critter looks pretty cute. thoughts? I haven't had a dog in a while and honestly it has been a nice break. I guess I am admitting I am ready to having a dog again.

    Looks like a Maltese.

Don't know about yapping, but they don't shed, which is cool.

Looks like what you said, a "little white dog" mutt. The type the dainty girls get and treat it like a human, and not a dog. It looks like it'll be small and relatively easy to train due to it's small size and neediness. I have 2 big mutts (60-70 lbs) and it's a b****, but as dogs get older through the years it tends to get better, just got my 3rd, a basset named after a certain The Wire character, rep to who gets it first (Hint once of the central lines in Season 1).

Maybe a Bichon? Possibly a Maltese but I don't think so. Just a word of advice that small white dogs usually need a special diet or they will get stones in afew years. I paid $750 for going cheap and feeding her kibbles and bits.

def looks like a Maltese, Bichons have kinda a cream curly hair while there puppies, the curls grow out into locks like a poodle. Maltese nor Bichons shed so thats also a plus. But remember a Maltese is like a having a new born for a couple of weeks, gotta watch there sugar levels so they dont become hypoglacemic (sorry for spelling) But after you get a Maltese used to being home and its not scared yuo dont gotta worry about there sugar levels anymore. Maltese are not so yappy either, Bichons can tend to be.. I worked for a dog breeder in highschoool

If you don't want a yappy little dog, you might want to stay away from Pomeranians. They're cute as hell and lovely to take care of but man when they start yapping you'll want to punch a wall.

I suggest a Maltese or a Shih Tzu, both are adorable and easy to take care of!

My sister has two Pomeranians. That's not a Pomeranian.

    Looks like a Maltese.

This is not a bichon according to my neighbor who has one. But she says she doesn't. Know otherwise

Edit: first post from my new iPhone. Meant to write 'not' a biichon

If it is, it's a mix. The ears aren't right and the muzzle is broader than a Pomeranian. Still cute though. If you want a cute small dog that's quiet, look at Papillions. The ears are a bit goofy looking, but they're kid friendly and energetic without being hyper.
