I miss our 2009 team. Landry was such a beast. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hvxxo5PZyko" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qtJkh0xo9cI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I remember how great it was to finally make it out of the first round again and how jealous I was of T-Mac's awesome seats.
I remember the playoff game when Carl Landry got his tooth knocked out and kept playing. What a gamer...
game 7 vs portland. greatest thing ever. the atmosphere in that stadium: i will never forget it. love you yao.
I know man...I know. Maybe if we had done that McGrady for Carter swap before McGrady shut it down on us, things would've turned out so much differently as well. After the Lakers would've been the Nuggets and Magic...sweeps. Damn it still hurts.
Man if Yao hadn't gone down there's no way the Nuggets and Magic would of stopped us in the WCF and in the Finals. Not to mention if we had a healthy Tracy as well.
too bad that charge drawn by the chuckwagon on roy that clinched the series (or was it just one game?) isn't in there
Landry is one of my top 5 Rockets of all time. He played with every ounce of his passion every single minute of the game. He is one undersized PF I do NOT mind having.
How long have you been a Rockets fan? Anyway, that team would have probably won it all if Yao had stayed healthy. That being said, we really should have started rebuilding the minute that LA series was over. Who knows where we'd be right now.
