Hey guys, I have been talking to a Rockets Tickets Rep for the past week about upcoming season tickets, and I would really love to get tickets for a full season (benefits include guarantee all-star game ticket purchase option, playoff priority, etc.) but all my friends are still in college and dont have money to spend on full season tickets. I was hoping somebody maybe wanted to get some riser seats with me like sec 101, 126, 113, or 114 in Row L. IMO the best bang for your buck. I figure Clutchfanners would be a good seat buddy since they love the Rockets
Consider buying the two tickets and selling partials to your friends. They might not have enough for a full season, but they might want to do 10-14 tickets each. And I think I saw somewhere where the Rockets will do payment plans. I did this the 1st two years that I had tickets, then one of my buddies eventually bought the entire 2nd seat for himself. What you do is you get 2 or 3 friends to commit to a second seat then you do a "draft" of the games before the season.
That was my plan, but I just dont have enough (if any) friends reliable enough financially to where I could see myself buying 2 full season tickets in risers and not be in a financial bind
Season Tickets I just purchased Club seat season tickets and am willing to sell off some of the games if interested
why don't you post the other 7 numbers so i can call you and tell you with my own voice how funny that was.
I heard from my ticket rep that Prices for season tickets may be moving depending on trade situation. She left me VM so I cannot verify if it will go up or down (I assume up since we are trying to get Dwight Howard, but realistically should go down since we are losing everyone else)
I wouldn't believe what the rep is saying, thats garbage if thats their sales pitch to sell tickets. I'm going on my 7th season, and they never went up in the upper bowl section. Lower section, from my understanding, didn't go up that much, even in our prime years 07-08, 08-09 in the past 5 seasons. fwiw, if you can't find another, just get 2 1/2 seasons at the same price, or 2 season tickets in a different section at the budget you have now and sell the 2nd ticket.
That is a good idea. I was really being hooked to get a full season for the guarantee to do all-star weekend (well at least guarantee to buy all-star weekend tickets). So now I have a lot of thinking to do, but thanks for your input!
funny..... No I am not. but from what I am reading you are a STH. If from what I read on the All-Star Game Houston in the GARM is true, it may not be worth getting a full season ticket package since it wont be guaranteed to get the all-star game. Any truth to that? I am talking Full-season, and I don't know if you are a full season or half season ticket holder
