I'm not saying it's because he funded a brothel for circus animals and subterranean ufo cults... I'm just saying... if it's not true, how could that be floating around out there?
That's not true. There's absolutely no truth to the rumor that MITT ROMNEY FUNDED A BROTHEL FOR CIRCUS ANIMALS AND SUBTERRANEAN UFO CULTS! None whatsoever. Where do people get the idea that MITT ROMNEY FUNDED A BROTHEL FOR CIRCUS ANIMALS AND SUBTERRANEAN UFO CULTS? Totally absurd.
Underwear with engraved your name on it is not cheap. Maybe his wife found undies not engraved with her name on it.
Taxers always crack me up Quick! Divert attention away from Obama's failure on the economy and unemployment! SamFisher, Batman Jones, glynch, B-Boob, MAN THE HARPOONS
I cannot blame Tex's desire to distract from this major integrity (and potentially criminal) issue. If I had his political agenda this would indeed be a topic I would rather not discuss.
Fake controversy -- politics of personal destruction... another sign of a panicking BDHOM campaign. The hilarious part of Obama's three pronged negative ad strategy of lying about outsourcing (factchecked with multiple pinocchios), distorting Romney's sterling career at Bain (Bill Clinton's assessment), and focusing on old tax returns is that it has crushed his likeability ratings in the polls. Likeability is basically all this fraud has at this point -- because his track record is widely considered to be a failure. Expect more politics of division going forward -- he has to divide in order to distract. America is angrily divided today -- a good leader would not have led us here.
I can almost guarantee you that it's because of donations to the Mormon church. He'd rather take the political hit than make his church a political target.
Really? Nobody is panicking. The liberals are just laughing at the freakshow that is Romney. All these controversies are popping up with absolutely no effort exhausted on our part. A "good" Republican by conservative standards would advocate tanking the economy with Obama in office to ensure more votes.
No effort? What a foolish thing to say! Try $100mm of negative ad spending -- on the way to setting records by beating Obama's 2008 spending on negative ads. The coffers are declining and fundraising is not going as expected for BDHOM. Meanwhile, Romney and his supportive PACs are raising the motherload, much of which can not be deployed until Romney has been officially nominated at the convention. After that point, expect Obama to be solidly outspent. Let me also give you a some constructive personal advice. You are a LEUVEO. You lack the intellectual standing to bring an argument against The_Conquistador. Might I suggest a trip to your nearest Wal-mart (toy aisle) to find a suitable opponent? GOOD DAY
Except we already know that he gave $4 million (about the 10% tithe) in the two years that he released already. it's not going to make it more or less of a target if it's in the same ballpark from 2009 and before. The only way it's an issue is if 1) he didn't give very much and is ashamed of being un-tithey or 2) he gave vastly huger sums (like $100 million or more) which makes him appear to be some sort of Mormon manchurian candidate.
I don't think that's it though. I doubt voters are really going to care how little Romney donated to the mormon church. Mormons will still vote for him, he still has more of an appeal to the churchfolk than Obama. Looking like an LDS puppet would hurt him, but I would imagine his views would be much more align with the church than that. I think he'd more like the Rick Santorum or at the very least, George Bush, of Mormonism. Evoking religious and Mormon sentiments in speeches and debates. I also think he would have a stricter and more proactive social agenda. Of course, if he had a top notch political team, maybe that wouldn't be the case- but as evidenced by the gaffes form him and his advisers, that doesn't appear to be the case.
