I think that would take time from both Donuts and White , if Morey
made that move I for one would be really upset

I agree , but Howard has said he will be a free agent no matter what next year so at the deadline The rockets would have to straight know without a doubt he will not be coming back. I don't see that type of certainty happening. If the rocket get Howard , he'll walk in free agency not a trade IMO

Anyway, we can't trade any of our rook till Aug 27th, and by taking a strong stance, Hennigan seems to desire more ass from Howard. Probably, I won't come back to this topic b4 the Olympic ends.

Take all your time, Hennigan. The offer is already on the table. Rockets don't give a damn about what you are saying, and indeed, Morey is in London.

If we don't get Dwight, then we don't need to make a trade that might give us a few more wins. In fact, we wouldn't want wins at all. We would want to give the rookies playing time and rack up lots of losses.

Wouldn't want to be tall an in Portland. The "top" three are Walton, Bowie and Oden. OUCH.

We don't have a backup C and I don't want to see DMo playing backup C. Big Baby played very well against Hilbert in the playoffs...better than Hilbert and Asik...for 6 m a year.

And what are we losing? A soft Patterson, a DNPCD Morris and a please cut me Fortson. If we don't get Dwight we have to start making some 3 for 1 trades to fill in the holes.

Just because you don't want to see Dmo as a backup center doesn't make it so. Big baby is not the player to trade for he does not to improve the team. If anything he would creat holes not fill them

We can't play 23 people. Davis is young. Patterson, Morris and Fortson are useless. We have to clear some spots and Davis is a much better asset to flip or use than those 3.

The only bad thing about the trade is he'd make Asik look like a backup.

I am not joking. We'd need to start moving some of the pieces that don't fit to fill in the holes. The roster is lopsided. 3 for 1 trades using useless or redundant players for someone young who has game and value is where we should be heading.

I agree that our roster is a mess and I'm not sure Morey and McHale want to have 4 rookies on our roster along with Morris and Parsons being sophomores. Dwight or not, I think Morey is itching to trade some of these guys.

If we do get Howard, and we somehow swing a trade for Josh Smith or an all-star wingman, would he still leave?

I'd much rather have Patterson than Fat Baby and his contract. Patterson looked great his rookie year and struggled with injuries all last year.
