In Houston yesterday, I saw several people running between 1:00 and 6:00 pm. They must have lost their minds.
I've seen a few doing the same thing in Austin. Heck, I saw a couple of crazy people yesterday doing it at 112 degrees. Some folks have a death wish, I guess.
We cancelled our soccer practice tonight, it is just too stinking hot for 8 year olds to be running up and down the fields. It is supposed to cool this weekend as our first cool front comes through...drop us down to the mid 90s. DD
I always see people jogging at Memorial no matter how hot at all times of the day. I don't understand how or why one would do this. I have a little trouble finishing the 3 mile loop at 8pm when its still about 90-95 degrees.

well if any country like USA or Canada wants to achieve the speed of Japan or Korea, they have to put a lot more into those fiber cables because of the inverse square law of energy dissipation.. and you know how big USA or Canada are.
