The more youth the better. Besides, it helps us keep most of ours.

yep... with a broken knee he probably wants a 10 years max contract otherwise he will demand a trade.

Magic would be getting rid of contracts and getting back prospects. Hill isn't likely to make the trade happen, but the Rockets ability to absorb bad contracts IS and they still have good prospects to give up. That is a big reason why the Lakers need a 3rd team.

Otherwise Bynum would be enough to trade for Dwight pretty much straight up.

I didn't see Bynum having any broken knees last season. I did see Howard having one hell of a back problem...

rockets is going to get close to the prime in next 3 years, bynum can stay healthy for 3 - 4 years. but after 4 years it is highly doubtful. blindly adding bynum will just get us to mediocre again without a real chance to the champ

It's funny how people here think Bynum would automatically re-sign with the Rockets next year. You guys need to realize Bynum would be a very risky acquisition.

Do you understand how a rivalry works between two franchises?

Do you understand that your side of the argument "DON'T HELP THE LAKERS!!!!" was exactly what Morey was planning to do last season?

Maybe try answering those instead of flinging around insults.

IIRC, he listed Houston, the Cavs and another team as ones he would sign with.

I'm not so sure Bynum would sign a new deal here after the season or sign an extension. That report of his destinations has been debunked. So, I don't believe that's considered an advantage over Dwight anymore.

Plus, the only way I trade for Bynum is if the Lakers get all the crap contracts back. We can send a rookie or two, but no way would I give up potential and take on bad contracts without getting Dwight Howard in return. No more free crap for the Lakers.

Go all in and trade for Dwight and see if this new CBA truly gives an advantage to players being loyal to their current team. Hang on to Parsons. Try and keep Motiejunas if trading for a center.

Pretty sure that was a BS report. I still think he would resign here though.

You're right, it is about the Rockets.

    Bynum makes Rockets better.

Get off the Hill thing, it was said a while ago that the Magic liked his game. He would be a throw in, that's it.
