    I love how gay marriage proponents are always going off on opponents by calling them fringe or extremist yet theres no way theyd ever be willing to put that issue up for a mass general election because they know they would lose. If your opinion is in the minority, by definition your views are closer to fringe than those on the other side of the fence.

    Do you have any stats to back that claim up? Just like the need for some to own an assault rifle, why is it so damn important for some people to tell 2 people who love each other can't say they are married? :confused:

    I'm not against gay marriage, but I really don't care that much. Marriage is just a trivial word and only good for tax breaks. Chick-fil-a sandwiches are more important to me.

    but they do have equal rights. Any man can marry any woman, no matter if you're gay or not (ok maybe not a sister or if they're under age...)

    I hate that you try to falsely compare this to civil rights. MLK is rolling over in his grave right now

    Bigotry is intolerance of a belief that differs from your own. Mayor is being intolerant of the guy's religious beliefs.

    No. He is attacking Chick Fil A's anti-gay stance. Not religion.
    There are plenty of religious people I know that even go as far as to support the gay movement.
    Being religious does not give you the right to condone in backwards bigotry and then get away with it because "its a part of your religion."
