All Hennigan has to do is let Dwight play 1 game at home, where the home crowd starts booing him and the price will drop drastically.

Not really how you scout college players though.

You're going way too much by team success and not enough by potential for growth and skillsets a player presents.

Your first negative on a guy is on Royce. You say UK put the clamps down on him and then he was dominated. Well such is the case for a guy on a lesser team that has to rely more on him.

Uconn was without their coach. Coaches matter a lot more in College ball than pro ball.

Jones did not show up. Doesn't mean that mentality can't change. Point is guys are drafted on their potential, room to grow, and skillset they bring into the NBA. College success helps but definitely not the end all be all. That's how you end up with guys like Morrison and a lot of guys who bust because a team put too much stock into college success.

But you're the one who has been spouting off since DAY 1 about how our youth is going to be special, and that Dwight is DEFINITELY LEAVING. You speak in absolute truths as if what you say is GUARANTEED. J.R. is not saying one way or another what is going to happen, but you NEVER relent on the fact that Dwight is leaving. You don't even give Dwight staying a THOUGHT. So it's incredibly disingenuous of you to put the burden on J.R. when he simply said it's a POSSIBILITY.

Can you find a source saying that he would like to stay in Houston? All i have been hearing for the past month or so is Dwight will not resign in Houston. If i had heard once from anyone reputable source that he might want to stay, then i wouldn't be so adamant about it.
You are only rushing to his rescue because he can't answer the question. Did Dwight, at any time, mention wanting to resign in Houston?

Ugh, it's a never-ending cycle. Where did Dwight say he would re-sign ANYWHERE?? The ONLY thing we have on record from Dwight himself is that he would not re-sign ANYWHERE.

And I'm not rushing to anyone's rescue, let alone J.R.'s. He's proven that he's more than capable of handling himself. I just think there's a huge contingent of people on the boards these days spouting off things about what Dwight will do when it's evident NONE of us know....and truth be told, you're the one leading the charge.

Why you calling that man out his name because he disagrees with your POV?

All this anger towards fellow fans because they see the move as short sighted and stupid when all available indications don't point to DH wanting to sign long-term or extend WITH THE ROCKETS.

How about you show us where he DENIED that?

    Does that compute?

    Where is the denial?

    We'll wait.... ;)

How can you deny something if you don't talk?

    Hey, i'm a leader?:eek::confused:
Seriously, the media has been spouting this all summer. You would think that if it were not true, they would have corrected it by now. I think it is reasonable for fans to think such. Especially, when it has not been denied.

The media spouted the Nets as a realistic (and leading) option for Dwight/Magic all summer, too. Not until after the deadline passed did they "correct" it. And not once did the Magic deny it!!!

I'm not the one saying Dwight is a rental. That's you and your buddy coachbadlee. You're adamant that this guy is a rental. Can you read? Did you read? I said you can't say one way or the other that Dwight will DEFINITELY stay or Dwight will DEFINITELY leave.

    Thank you Bri.

    Thank you Fyreball

This is a ridiculous statement. This is like a prosecutor telling the jury, "The defendant is guilty, ladies and gentlemen, all indications point that he was basically admitting that." And the jury responds, "Well where is the actual confession?" And the prosecutor says "Uhh well well he didnt deny he was guilty so I mean, come on lets just assume, right?"

Honestly, what purpose would it serve Dwight to deny anything? All that matters is what Hennigan, Morey, Kupchak and a few other people believe. What does the short-term opinion of casual fans mean? Why in the world does he need to involve himself in this circus when so much is unsettled?

Screw Dwight and the Magic, they obviously think this is a game where they can hold franchises and teams hostage until they get what they want. Honestly, I'd love to see the Magic wind up with nothing after all their posturing and failures to come to complete deals.

They want to get the best deal they can get for one of the three best players in the world. If we were in their shoes, I'd want Morey to take the same patient approach.
